San Francisco, and the rest of the NL West competition, is taking advantage of the injured Dodgers’ pitching staff. Los Angeles has more pitchers on the IL (14, who make a combined $89M) than its active roster (13, making $60.8M).

The Giants had a seven-game winning streak before last night’s loss and should have the edge with southpaw Kyle Harrison on the mound, as Los Angeles is 9-11 against left-handed starting pitchers and 33-18 against righties.
