I expect Philadelphia southpaw Cristopher Sanchez to be extra motivated this afternoon because of his All-Star snub. He is the main backdrop of my Phillies vs. Padres prediction.

ESPN’s Paul Hembekides explained it best on X, as Sanchez has a better bWAR, ERA, FIP, and OPS allowed than the average NL starting pitcher.
