Aces vs. Fever prediction

We've written plenty about both of these sides over the last month but particularly Indiana, which is playing like one of the best teams in the WNBA.

That's especially true on the offensive end. The Fever lead the league in scoring (88.7 PPG) since June 13 - just ahead of Las Vegas (86.7 PPG) - and they've upped the ante since the Olympic break with a sizzling 92.3 points per game in 10 contests.

Indiana has scored at least 100 points in three of its last five games, including Sunday's 104-100 win over the Atlanta Dream in an absolute thriller:

What will we see from Aces?

At this point, we know what to expect from Clark and Co., who love to push the pace offensively and give up just as many points on the other end.

The Aces, on the other hand, are harder to project - especially if A'ja Wilson (ankle) misses a second straight game after sitting against the New York Liberty.

While she's easily the best offensive player in the league, her absence could free up Las Vegas to push the pace even more in a guard-centric showdown with Indiana while also missing Wilson's rim protection on defense.

It all adds up to a strong Over play in my eyes, especially with three of our five best sportsbooks hanging a total of 177.5 while we target this lower number at bet365.

Best Aces vs. Fever player props

Caitlin Clark Over 32.5 pts + ast (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

We've been making an absolute killing on this prop over the last month, and I don't see any reason not to go back to the well on Wednesday.

While this total is four points higher than when we recommended it ahead of the Fever's last game, it still would have cashed in that one and nine of Clark's last 14 starts - including five straight entering this matchup.

If Wilson does indeed sit out, that should make for even easier driving lanes to score or to kick out to the perimeter. If this one cashes for the sixth straight time, we'll profit $8.77 for every $10 wagered.

Aliyah Boston Over 24.5 pts + reb (-112) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The former No. 1 pick started slow but has averaged 16.3 points and 10.4 rebounds in 24 starts over the last three months. She's been unstoppable over her last three games, averaging 24.7 points and 10.7 rebounds with at least 20 points in each.

Now she faces an Aces defense that was struggling even with Wilson in the lineup. If the two-time MVP is sidelined, I'd be awfully surprised if Boston doesn't clear this total for a fourth consecutive contest.
