π Pick to win British Grand Prix: Lando Norris ββββ

Norris hasn't yet won at Silverstone, but he's been knocking on the door for a few years. He finished third last year, following up on a second-place finish the previous year.
And like our F1 predictions, Norris is on a heater. He's won two of the last four races, with a second-place finish tossed into the mix.
The other race in that sample, an 18th-place result in Montreal, was his worst result of the season, caused by an overzealous moment in which he collided with teammate Oscar Piastri.
Norris was outstanding in Austria, finishing atop the pack in FP2, FP3, qualifying, and the race itself. He's oozing confidence, is the fastest driver on the grid at the moment and is desperate to win on home soil for the first time.
Additionally, Silverstone is the fourth-fastest track on the circuit, which favors Formula One's fastest car, the MCL39. DraftKings offers the best odds, and a winning $10 bet will yield a profit of $16.50.
π Best value bet to win British Grand Prix: Max Verstappen ββββ
π Best odds: +450 via BetMGM | Implied probability: 18.18%
Few things are more foreboding than a wronged, vengeance-seeking Verstappen. The Dutchman was taken out of the Austrian Grand Prix by 18-year-old Kimi Antonelli early in the first lap before he had a chance to push the envelope.
He will feel hard done by, aggrieved and will be hellbent on making amends.
That should pose a problem for most of the field. Like most tracks, the four-time defending champion has enjoyed success at Silverstone, finishing second last year and first in 2023.
BetMGM offers the longest odds of our best sports betting apps, where a winning $10 bet will profit $45. At the other end of the spectrum is DraftKings, providing +350 odds.
π― Best long shot to win British Grand Prix: Lewis Hamilton βββ
π Best odds: +1800 via bet365 | Implied probability: 5.26%

Sir Lewis has nine victories at Silverstone, not only the most at the British Grand Prix but the most at any race.
He hadn't won a race in more than two years heading into last year's British Grand Prix but managed to find a way, outlasting Verstappen and Norris. Staggeringly, Hamilton has won eight of the previous 11 races at Silverstone Circuit.
Now, that's the definition of a home-track advantage.
He's been better recently, finally coming to terms with Ferrari and the car's capabilities. Hamilton finished fourth in Austria last week, tied for his best result this season.
