He may be one of the oldest starting QBs in the CFL, but Bo Levi Mitchell is showing no signs of slowing down. The co-favorite on the CFL Most Outstanding Player odds, Mitchell has this Hamilton offense humming after back-to-back weeks of putting up 35-plus points. In the two games Dru Brown has been healthy for this season, Ottawa has been nothing if not entertaining thanks to their gunslinging QB. Brown has thrown for 729 yards and four scores while completing 77.4% of his passes, with the Redblacks averaging 29.5 points per game in his two starts. And yet, they lost both those games.

Even with Brown evolving into one of the league's most exciting passers while surrounded by several talented playmakers like Eugene Lewis and Justin Hardy, the Redblacks can't seem to win because their defense is performing like the Toronto Maple Leafs in a Game 7. It's been great news for the Over, though, with it hitting in both games Brown has started.

Meanwhile, Hamilton's team similarly has needed its QB to overcome defensive issues. While the Tiger-Cats are leading the league in points per game (33.8) and passing yards per game (299), they're giving up the third-most points per game (30.2). However, that's helped Hamilton become the best Over team in the league (3-1) - Mitchell's passing prowess is a huge reason why.

If the season ended today, Mitchell would win CFL MOP. He leads the league in touchdown passes (9), ranks second in passing yards (1,219), and is third in QB rating (113.0). So don't expect Scott Milanovich to start running the ball now, especially against an Ottawa defense allowing the third-highest QB rating in the CFL (104.7).

Mitchell is coming off his best game of the season after throwing for 332 yards and five scores against the Toronto Argonauts. With him playing some of the best ball of his career, look for him to throw for Over 310.5 yards for the third time in four games.
