The New York Liberty look to continue their domination of the Atlanta Dream, and we're offering our top Dream vs. Liberty prediction and expert picks based on the best WNBA odds.

Despite holding the best record in the WNBA, the New York Liberty (15-3) are coming off a 94-89 loss to the Minnesota Lynx in the Commissioner's Cup. Even with the loss, New York is right there with the Las Vegas Aces atop the WNBA championship odds.

Don't expect the loss to the Lynx to trip up the Liberty as they take on the lowly Atlanta Dream (6-9) on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET (ESPN) from Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. Breanna Stewart and Co. are a 13.5-point home favorite across our best sportsbooks in what's expected to be a blowout win.

Dream vs. Liberty predictions for Sunday

Liberty -13.5 ⭐⭐⭐

This will be the third time the Liberty play the Dream this season, and I'm expecting New York to notch its third straight victory against Atlanta. The two teams met for the first time this season on June 6, and New York unleashed in a 17-point road win.

The second matchup came just last week when the Liberty once again decimated the Dream on the road - this time by 21 points. There's a reason New York is arguably the best team in the W this season; they have a plethora of scorers who can take over games.

In the two wins against Atlanta, Stewart, last year's MVP, averaged 21 PPG, 9 RPG and 5.5 APG. The Dream can't stop her. Then again, they can't seem to stop anyone. Sabrina Ionescu is averaging 18 PPG and 8 APG against Atlanta, with Jonquel Jones putting up 12.5 PPG and 10 RPG.

Those three are an unstoppable trio that have the Liberty putting up the most points per game in the WNBA (88.1) while ranking first in offensive rating (111.3). I just don't see any way that Atlanta's last-ranked offense (75.9 PPG) can keep up, especially with All-Star Rhyne Howard injured.

These odds imply a 52.38% probability that New York covers the spread with a $10 winning bet paying a $9.09 profit.

Under 164 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Obviously, I've been gushing about New York's top-ranked offense and its lethal trio of scorers. So why am I taking the Under? The Dream couldn't score when Howard was healthy, so I'm not sure they can even put up 70 without her. 

The two-time All-Star was leading Atlanta with 15.4 PPG prior to her ankle injury, and the Dream needed every one of those points. With an offense that's last in PPG and offensive rating (97.3), taking the leading scorer out of it is causes irreparable damage.  

Without her against the Indiana Fever, the last-ranked defense in the W, Atlanta only put up 79 in a loss. Last week we saw how out of place they looked against the Liberty. In that loss to New York, only Tina Charles finished with more than 10 points.

While I expect the Liberty to score, I don't see the Dream putting up enough points for this Over to hit. The Liberty allowed the third-fewest PPG (78.4) for a reason. With a 52.38% win probability, a $10 bet on these odds pay out $19.09
