2025 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix Best Bets, Predictions: Expert F1 Prop Bets, Picks to Win & Odds for Sunday

Max Verstappen stole the show in qualifying at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix and will start Sunday's race (1 p.m. ET, ESPN) in pole position.
Despite securing pole, Verstappen isn't the favorite entering the race. McLaren's Oscar Piastri, the F1 Championship odds favorite and the driver we picked to win the race in our Saudi Arabian Grand Prix predictions and best bets before qualifying, finished second and is receiving the shortest odds.
Lando Norris crashed into the wall at the exit of Turn 5 in Q3 and had to settle for 10th place, while George Russell and Charles Leclerc finished third and fourth, setting up a mouthwatering proposition on Sunday.

π Saudi Arabian Grand Prix predictions, expert picks & best bets at Jeddah Corniche Circuit
Editor's note: These picks were made after P2 and before P3 and qualifying, which Max Verstappen won. The odds have since changed.
π Pick to win Saudi Arabian Grand Prix: Oscar Piastri (+150 via DraftKings) ββββ
I implore you to get behind Norris or Piastri before this afternoon's qualifying (1 p.m. ET), as both McLaren drivers' odds will likely shorten after qualifying.
They had a relatively easy time in the second practice session, which will accurately represent the conditions for qualifying and Sunday's race.
With his win at the Japanese Grand Prix, Verstappen proved he can still top the McLaren drivers in his slightly inferior car. However, Jeddah Corniche Circuit favors the McLaren drivers, whose car is still the fastest on the grid. The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix is the second-fastest and fastest street track on the circuit, conducive to the unrivaled speeds Piastri and Norris can elicit from their MCL39.
If neither driver makes a mistake, this race is theirs to win. I'm giving Piastri the marginal advantage despite his slightly slower time in P2.
Aside from one mistake in Australia, Piastri has been the more consistent driver all season. He also dominated his teammate in Bahrain last week. A winning $10 bet will profit $15 at DraftKings, which offers the longest odds of our best sports betting sites.
π Best value bet to win Saudi Arabian Grand Prix: Max Verstappen (+1000 via DraftKings) βββ
While I don't expect Verstappen to win, he has the best chance of anyone not named Norris and Piastri. And you can't dismiss those eye-popping +1000 odds DraftKings is offering. Representing a 9.09% win probability, those odds will profit $100 on a $10 bet, $30 more than the +700 odds at bet365.
Verstappen looked more competitive in P2 than in the Bahrain Grand Prix. He also has the skill set to take advantage of and exploit any mistakes made by the McLaren drivers.
You could wait to see if Verstappen's odds lengthen after qualifying, but that depends on whether you think he'll finish lower than third. I'd take these odds now, as I don't see the scenario getting more appealing.
π― Best long shot to win Saudi Arabian Grand Prix: Charles Leclerc (+1300 via FanDuel) βββ
I've been banging on the Leclerc and George Russell drum for a few races, and I'm compelled again to back the Ferrari driver. He'll need a mammoth effort in qualifying and the race to upend McLaren's Maverick and Goose (you can decide who is whom). Aside from Leclerc and Russell, the latter of whom endured a comparatively disappointing P2 by finishing seventh, I can't envision anyone else coming close to winning the race.
Leclerc has consecutive fourth-place finishes and, wouldn't you know it, crossed the line with the fourth-fastest time in P2. He shows signs of improvement each race and, at some point, could break through. A winning $10 bet would profit $130 at FanDuel.
π° Best Saudi Arabian Grand Prix prop bets & picks at Jeddah Corniche Circuit

π₯ Best prop bet for Saudi Arabian Grand Prix: Lando Norris fastest lap (+145 via FanDuel) ββββ
Norris and Piastri have won three of the four fastest laps thus far, with Norris taking the plaudits in the first two races and Piastri last week in Bahrain. Norris is hellbent on a bounce-back weekend, and it has started well, with the Briton finishing second in P1 and first in P2. As earlier mentioned, this track has all the hallmarks of a lightning-quick race, which should play right into McLaren's hands.
π Best prop bet for Saudi Arabian Grand Prix: George Russell podium finish (+105 via DraftKings) βββ
Russell finished on the podium in three of four races thus far and has been the most consistent driver, excluding Norris and Piastri. He finished off the Japanese Grand Prix podium but secured second in Bahrain last week. Russell finished sixth in Saudi Arabia last year, another respectable result. I expect him to be better in qualifying than in P2, where he finished with the sixth-fastest time. A winning $10 bet at DraftKings would profit $10.50.

π‘ How to bet on Saudi Arabian Grand Prix
When betting on any grand prix, there are many things to consider, some more crucial than others:
- Follow what happens closely during the practice sessions
- While the practice sessions should be used to inform your picks, qualifying is the most important part of the pre-race festivities. You might get better odds picking a driver before qualifying, but it could also make winning much more challenging if qualifying doesn't go well
- Pole position is more crucial at some races. For example, three of four Saudi Arabian Grand Prix races have been won from pole
