The best drivers in the world will hit the streets in Sin City on Sunday, and our Vegas Grand Prix predictions are based on the Formula 1 odds from our best sports betting apps.

Formula 1 will cruise the streets of Las Vegas for the first time in four decades. A new course has been laid out for the second-to-last race of the 2023 season encircling the famous Las Vegas Strip on Sunday.

Cold desert temperatures will add to the challenge for the 20 drivers on Saturday night as each looks to be the first to put their name in the history books as the winner of this inaugural race.

Three-time championship Max Verstappen has once again been the class of the field and remains the heavy favorite by the Las Vegas Grand Prix odds. However, he has lost two street courses this season, so the door is open for an upset.

Here are our best bets and 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix predictions for the Las Vegas Strip Circuit (odds via our best sports betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Las Vegas Grand Prix predictions

Max Verstappen to win (-182 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Verstappen enters the glitz and glamor of the Las Vegas Grand Prix having already claimed the Formula 1 Driver's Championship trophy two months ago in Qatar. The three-time World Champion has won 17 of the 20 races this season including the last five.

For the first time since his rise to dominance, he will be on equal footing with his competitors on this brand-new circuit. However, Verstappen has just two wins on street courses this year in four attempts.

Believe it or not, -182 is a generous line. FanDuel still offers Verstappen to win at -250. Meanwhile, BetMGM and bet365 have him at -225.

Lando Norris to win (+15000 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐

Norris has been knocking on the door all season logging six runner-up finishes through 20 races. The British driver had stood on the podium seven times this year and has even led 30 laps.

The first three street races in 2023 were not the greatest for Norris. He finished ninth at Baku, 17th in Miami, and ninth again in the Monaco Grand Prix. The young McLaren pilot did rebound for a second-place finish at the most recent street course in Singapore.

Fernando Alonso to win (+12500 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐

Alonso started his 2023 season with 14 straight points finishes and the Spanish driver stood on the podium six times in that span. Two of those podiums came on street circuits at Baku and Monaco. Alonso was the runner-up to Verstappen on the Monte Carlo Circuit, and he also registered the third-fastest time in the second free practice session on this course

His number swings widely across our best sportsbooks. The shortest odds are +5000 on BetMGM.
