PGA Championship Fantasy Golf Power Rankings
(odds via DraftKings as of May 12)
1. Justin Thomas (+1200)
With seven top-10 finishes this season, including at the Masters in April, the 14-time PGA Tour winner has been in contention on Sunday a lot to be without a win this year. Thomas' lone major win came at the 2017 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, NC.
2. Jon Rahm (+1100)
The win at the Mexico Open at Vidanta was Rahm's first victory of the season and third top-five finish. He won his first major championship last year at the U.S. Open held at Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego, CA, and the seven-time PGA Tour winner heads to Southern Hills in improved form.

3. Patrick Cantlay (+2000)
Chasing his first major win, Cantlay has five top-five finishes this season, including teaming with Xander Schauffele to win the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. Of course, Cantlay is also the reigning FedEx Cup champion, and he's fifth in birdie average on tour this season.
4. Scottie Scheffler (+1200)
The World No. 1 could easily top this list given his incredible current form and recent string of victories. After all, Scheffler's four wins this season are also accompanied by four more top-10 finishes, including three top-fives. Still, winning consecutive majors isn't easy.
5. Rory McIlroy (+1200)
In 2014, McIlroy followed up his PGA Championship victory with a win at the U.S. Open, and he hasn't won a major since. The Northern Irishman made a Sunday charge at Augusta National Golf Club to finish second, and he finished fifth in his last start at the Wells Fargo Championship, so the current form is encouraging.

6. Dustin Johnson (+1400)
Aside from a Sunday 63 at The Players Championship and a fourth-place finish at the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play, Johnson's been quiet this season. He tied for 12th at the Masters, but missed the cut at the RBC Heritage the next week and hasn't played since.
7. Collin Morikawa (+1400)
The 2020 PGA Championship winner finished fifth at the Masters in April, and he's mixed in six more top-10 finishes this season. Ranking tied for 61st in strokes gained: putting this year has proven to be a hindrance to adding a sixth PGA Tour victory to his resume.
8. Shane Lowry (+3500)
A quick peek at Lowry's recent run is impressive. He's made seven consecutive cuts with four top-five finishes, including tying for third at the Masters. Lowry also ranks third in scoring average for the year, and his 2019 Open Championship win at Royal Portrush Golf Club shouldn't go overlooked, either.
9. Xander Schauffele (+2200)
Missing the cut at the two biggest events of the season - The Players Championship and the Masters - isn't encouraging, but it's been a solid season for Schauffele, otherwise. His win came in the team event at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans with Cantlay, and it was Schauffele's first on tour since 2019.
10. Cameron Smith (+1800)
The Aussie has already won twice this season, and he's first on the PGA Tour in both birdie and scoring average. Smith also finished in a tie for third at the Masters, and played in the final pairing with winner Scheffler.

11. Viktor Hovland (+2000)
It seems inevitable Hovland will win a major championship, but consistently losing strokes around the green has been crippling this season. The 24-year-old Norwegian ranks 210th in strokes gained: around-the-green, after all. Still, Hovland has made 11 of 12 cuts and has a win and four top-10 finishes this season.
12. Sam Burns (+4000)
Despite three wins in just over a calendar year, Burns is probably still not a household name for most golf fans and potentially even bettors. He should be. In addition to Burns' two wins this season, he has four more top-10 finishes and ranks seventh in birdie average.
13. Jordan Spieth (+2000)
The win at the RBC Heritage was Speith’s 13th on tour, and he's now won in consecutive seasons following a three-year winless drought. His last major championship was the 2017 Open Championship, and he’s also missed the cut in his last two major starts. File Spieth in the high-risk, (potentially) high-reward pile.

14. Daniel Berger (+3500)
Berger hasn’t played well since blowing a five-shot lead in the final round of The Honda Classic with his T-13 finish at The Players Championship his best result. Additionally, the 29-year-old American recently withdrew from the Mexico Open at Vidanta, so there might be an added health risk.
15. Will Zalatoris (+3500)
With three consecutive top-10 finishes leading into the AT&T Byron Nelson, Zalatoris is trending closer and closer to his first PGA Tour victory. Shotty work with the flatstick has been a hindrance, as Zalatoris ranks tied for 170th in shots gained: putting this season.
16. Hideki Matsuyama (+3500)
Already with two wins this season, the 2021 Masters Champion also hasn’t missed a cut this year. Matsuyama did withdraw from the Valero Texas Open earlier this season with a neck injury, but he appears to be healthy after finishing tied for 14th in his title defense at Augusta National in April.
17. Brooks Koepka (+1600)
A Wednesday withdrawal from the AT&T Byron Nelson is a little concerning, but it’s not as worrisome as Koepka’s recent form. The four-time major champion has missed the cut in six of 13 events this season, including at the Masters. Still, he’s also mixed in three top-10 finishes.
18. Joaquin Niemann (+4500)
There aren’t many holes in Niemann’s game, and his wire-to-wire win at The Genesis Invitational this year impressed. He ranks 16th and 12th in birdie and scoring average, respectively, after all.
19. Tyrell Hatton (+4000)
While the Englishman has cooled off of late, he’s still made nine consecutive cuts with six top-25 finishes. Ranking second in shots gained: putting for the season has been huge for Hatton, but his recent majors track record underwhelms. He’s missed the cut in four of his past six majors with tying for 38th at last year’s PGA Championship his best result.
20. Corey Conners (+5000)
Elite ball-striking remains Conner’s calling card, as he ranks ninth in greens-in-regulation percentage this season. He’s also made seven consecutive cuts, which includes impressive finishes at both the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play (third) and the Masters (T-6).
