The Las Vegas Aces hope to bounce back from an embarrassing loss a few days ago when they travel to face the Connecticut Sun at 4 p.m. ET (WNBA League Pass) on Sunday at the Mohegan Sun Arena.

Las Vegas head coach Becky Hammon called out the lack of effort by her team in Thursday’s loss to Indiana. It was deserved after the team’s lowest offensive output all year, in which nobody other than A’ja Wilson scored more than six points.

The Aces should respond against the worst team in the league on Sunday, but they haven’t shown enough to deserve this much respect. I’m not laying a football spread with this team right now.

Las Vegas is 6-11 against the spread this year. The Aces have only covered the spread three times this season when favored by more than a possession. I’ll take the points.
