After missing the Indiana Fever's last five games, the reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year is expected to be back, and we're breaking down our best Caitlin Clark player prop picks for her matchup with the Golden State Valkyries.

Though Golden State isn't among the top WNBA championship odds contenders, the Valkyries pose a tricky matchup for Clark as we make our Valkyries vs. Fever best bets for Wednesday's game at noon ET (NBA TV) from Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

👀 Is Caitlin Clark playing vs. Valkyries?

Although it has yet to be officially confirmed if Clark will play against the Valkyries, she did participate in a five-on-five scrimmage during Monday's practice, according to Chloe Peterson of the Indianapolis Star.

The reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year hasn't played since June 24 due to a groin injury, but head coach Steph White has stated she's expected to suit up against Golden State.

Being banged up has really killed Clark's scoring this season. The last time we saw her she put up just six points against the Seattle Storm while going 0-for-6 from behind the arc. Her groin injury was likely a factor, but I don't think it's safe to assume she'll hit the ground running as a scorer after returning.

Golden State boasts one of the best defenses in the W, with the team allowing the second-fewest points per game (78.2) and the lowest field-goal percentage (39.9%). It held Clark to 11 points the last time these two squads played.

She's also gone Under 17.5 points in three of her last seven games while shooting just 14-for-59 (23.7%) from three during that stretch.

So between the presence of Boston and Clark's return from injury potentially dissuading her from fighting for boards, this Under is a worthwhile plus-money play.
