After Breanna Stewart won last year's WNBA MVP, she's priced behind A'ja Wilson as the favorite to repeat by the latest 2024 WNBA MVP odds across our best sports betting sites

In her first season with the New York Liberty, Breanna Stewart took home the 2023 WNBA MVP over Las Vegas Aces' star A'ja Wilson. The two have accounted for four of the last six WNBA MVP awards and remain the favorites in 2024 heading into the preseason

While Stewart won the award over Wilson last season, the Aces' got the last laugh as they defeated the Liberty for the 2023 WNBA title. Las Vegas is favored to do it again by the 2024 WNBA Championship odds with Wilson expected to earn her third MVP.

It's clearly Wilson and Stewart who sit above the rest for the award, but Caitlin Clark is entering the league with as much hype as any rookie in any sports. The Indiana Fever's new franchise player is a wildcard in this race and could quickly take the WNBA by storm.

Here's a look at the 2024 WNBA MVP odds from our best sports betting apps.

 2024 WNBA MVP favorites

A'ja Wilson (+180 via DraftKings)

Wilson averaged a career-best 22.8 points per game for the star-studded and championship-winning Aces. Those points accompanied 9.5 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks per game across an average of 30.7 minutes while playing a full 40-game regular season. She elevated her game further in the playoffs with 23.8 PPPG and 11.8 RPG en route to the championship.

However, Wilson was robbed of a repeat by Stewart. That could motivate her heading into the 2024 season. Additional motivation could come in the form of wanting to win this award once again over the WNBA's highly-anticipated rookie class.

Breanna Stewart (+550 via FanDuel)

Few players in the WNBA are as decorated as Stewart, who has two WNBA titles and two league MVPs to her name. In her first season with the Liberty, the five-time All-Star averaged a career-high 23 points and 3.8 assists to go with 9.3 rebounds.

With the Liberty expected to compete for the title again, Stewart will be right there with Wilson throughout the MVP race.

Caitlin Clark WNBA MVP odds

+1200 via bet365

Clark is looking to become the first WNBA rookie since Candace Parker in 2008 to be crowned the league's MVP. She'll look to do so after finishing her collegiate career with nearly every record possible.

After being the No. 1 pick of the Indiana Fever in the WNBA draft, Clark's MVP resume could be bolstered early if she's able to keep the Fever in the WNBA Championship odds for a significant chunk of the season. While it's never easy to project a rookie's impact, Clark is the most decorated player in college basketball history and has proven to have unlimited range as a shooter.

Clark averaged an absurd 31.6 points this past season for the Iowa Hawkeyes and 5.2 made 3-pointers per game. Her shooting from behind the arc is an X-factor, but what makes her such an interesting fit with the fever is her passing prowess. Clark averaged 8.2 assists per game over four seasons with Iowa and joins an Indiana team with scoring talent - Kelsey Mitchell, Nalyssa Smith, and Aliyah Boston combined for 48.2 points per game last season.

That passing ability could open the door to her being a legitiamte MVP candidate during her rookie season, which would have Clark well on her way to becoming the WNBA's greatest of all time.
