๐Ÿคผ WrestleMania matchups and analysis

WWE Championship: John Cena (-200) vs. Cody Rhodes (+150)

John Cena shocked the world on March 1 when he joined forces with The Rock and turned heel for the first time in over 20 years. Cena opened with -200 odds to defeat Cody Rhodes for the WWE Championship. Those WrestleMania odds have increased slightly, with Cena now -200 to win.

Cena's farewell tour will run through 2025, so there is no real rush for the powers that be to put the belt on him at WrestleMania. Babyfaces typically go over in the main event at WrestleMania, but Triple H threw us for a loop just two years ago when heel Roman Reigns beat a babyface Cody.

Triple Threat: CM Punk (-200) vs. Seth Rollins (-125) vs. Roman Reigns (+200)

It is now official that the Triple Threat match between Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and CM Punk will be the main event for Night 1 of WrestleMania 41. Roman Reigns opened as the betting favorite with -120 odds, but Punk and now Rollins have taken over as the top sportsbook options after Punk cashed in his "favor" and forcing manager Paul Heyman to be in his corner.

Fans are speculating whether this will lead to a full-on Heyman switch back to Punk as manager. Or, maybe the "Wise Man" even joins forces with Rollins?!!!!

Women's World Championship: Bianca Belair (-150) vs. Iyo Sky (+100) vs. Rhea Ripley (+200)

Belair and champion Sky are co-favorites to prevail in what is now a Triple Threat tilt following Ripley's insertion into the match. Regardless of how you feel about the late plot development, this could easily be one of the best matches of the two-night card โ€“ and oddsmakers are giving all three combatants a decent chance of leaving with the title.

World Heavyweight Championship: Jey Uso (-600) vs. Gunther (+350)

Jey Uso opened as a heavy favorite to win the title over Gunther. The 2025 men's Royal Rumble winner opened with -2000 WrestleMania odds. Those odds are now at -600.

WWE Women's Championship: Charlotte Flair (-130) vs. Tiffany Stratton (-110)

Sportsbooks now have this matchup as a complete toss-up after listing Flair as a slight favorite through most of March.

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Dominik Mysterio (-250) vs. Penta (+150) vs. Bron Breakker (+250) vs. Finn Balor (+800)

Oddsmakers like Dirty Dom to claim the Intercontinental title at Wrestlemania 41, installing him as the -175 favorite shortly after this match was announced. It's interesting that Breaker has such long odds despite coming in as the champion and looking positively dominant in recent weeks.

United States Championship: Jacob Fatu (-400) vs. LA Knight (+250)

LA Knight isn't afraid to meet any challenge head on โ€“ but a WM41 bout with the human wrecking ball that is Jacob Fatu is widely expected to finish in the Samoan's favor. He's a whopping -550 favorite, carrying an implied probability of 84.6%.

World Tag Team Championship: The New Day (-600) vs. The War Raiders (+350)

The New Day look to extend their WrestleMania legacy in a clash of styles against the hard-hitting War Raiders. Expect chaos, theatrics, and a pro-War Raiders crowd that will almost certainly boo The New Day into a neighbouring state; it's also quite likely that Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods will leave Vegas with the gold.

Women's Tag Team Championship: Raquel Rodriguez / Liv Morgan (-450) vs. Bayley / Lyra Valkyria (+275)

Rodriguez and Morgan might not seem like the ideal WWE women's championship duo, but it's extremely difficult to see them losing their WM41 bout against Bayley and Lyra Valkyria. Of course, that's mostly due to the fact that a Bayley-Valkyria program for Lyra's newly-created Women's Intercontinental Championship would be super fun.

Singles match: Logan Paul (-300) vs. AJ Styles (+200)

The most genuinely reviled man in the company (Sorry, Cena) is a comfortable -280 favorite to add to his wrestling resume against former world champion Styles (+180). Let's just hope it's a good match (and given Styles' involvement, it almost certainly will be.)

Singles match: Drew McIntyre (-1000) vs. Damian Priest (+500)

The purveyor of the most dangerous kick in the business has a massive betting odds advantage against fellow ex-champion Priest, who has seen his stock plummet since cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase and dethroning McIntyre last year. Look for the burly Scot to gain a measure of revenge.

Singles match: Rey Mysterio (-150) vs. El Grande Americano (+110)

Mysterio's 16th career Wrestlemania appearance sees him take on El Grande Americano, and he's a -150 favorite against the wrestler formerly known as Chad Gable (+110). The American-turned-luchador gimmick is a little cheesy, but it's hard to see Gable squandering his momentum with a loss here. This one's ripe for a minor upset.

Singles match: Jade Cargill (-500) vs. Naomi (+300)

The payback theme wraps up nicely with this bout between a returning Cargill (-600) and the woman who put her on the shelf last fall. Naomi is a massive underdog at +280, and given the high likelihood that Cargill is in for a major push, there's no real path to the underdog prevailing here.

๐ŸŽ† How to bet on WWE WrestleMania

Unlike most sporting events, the scripted nature of the WWE offers some unique challenges to the books. On the one hand, much like football, baseball, basketball, etc., the fans donโ€™t know the outcome of a match. However, those participating as well as those who wrote the storyline do.

Because you are betting on a predetermined outcome, the odds reflect it. Most often, the books lean heavily to one side of the story and make the lines for the favorites almost out of reach. However, since it is not unheard of for surprises in the ring, itโ€™s not a bad idea to take a shot on long shots with upside.

You can expect to see these lines shift several times over the next few weeks as storylines continue to play out. The card could also look much different in the next few weeks as well. Itโ€™s best to keep an eye on the books for all of these changes.

๐Ÿ†š How do WrestleMania odds work?

In wrestling, you are betting on the winner of the match by the declaration of the referee. For example, if you bet $10 on Tiffany Stratton at +300 to beat Charlotte Flair, you would win $30 with a total payout of $40 if she's announced the winner.
