The Knicks have struggled on defense as of late, but the team still sports one of the best offenses in the Association. Spearheaded by the dynamic duo of Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns, New York’s roster is loaded with talent on both ends of the court. Towns is banged up, but the Knicks will still be dominant even if he’s sidelined.
Philadelphia will be without Joel Embiid, and the Sixers’ supporting cast has dealt with several key injuries throughout the season. Philadelphia has failed to get into a rhythm on offense, and a team once heralded for its strong defense has faltered.
The talent disparity is too great to ignore, and the Knicks should have no problem covering at home. After three devastating losses - each worse than the last - the Sixers may be looking ahead to next season, which gives them little motivation to keep this one close.
I predict the Knicks will beat the 76ers by a final score of 124 to 110.

Maxey has done all he can to keep the Sixers afloat this season, but despite some Herculean efforts, the team continues to struggle. Philly has lost eight in a row, and their last three post All-Star break have been devastating.
Philly lost by 20 to the Boston Celtics before losing to the Brooklyn Nets on a buzzer-beater. The team responded with a 32-point drubbing at the hands of the Chicago Bulls, who led by 50 at one point in the fourth quarter.

I’m not convinced that his recent streak of poor performances is just a cold spell. Shooters shoot their slumps, but that hasn’t been the case for Maxey. We’ll take the Under here as the Sixers go up against an Eastern Conference powerhouse on the road in a game that could get ugly early.
