It's wild that J.B. Bickerstaff isn't getting shorter NBA Coach of the Year odds with the way he's been turning around the Detroit Pistons while helping Cade Cunningham live up to his potential. Now Cunningham can really show off how far this team has come while he attempts to lead the Pistons to a ninth straight win against the Denver Nuggets tonight.

The 2021 No. 1 overall pick is third in the NBA in assists per game (9.5), and he's hit double-digit apples in three of his last four contests. He should be able to do that once again against a Denver defense that's allowing the third-most APG in the NBA to point guards (9.89).

The Atlanta Hawks have been brutal lately, and their NBA Play-In Tournament odds are pulled with the team locked into the No. 7, No. 8, or No. 9 seed. A recent string of losses has coincided with sporadic play from Trae Young, who's averaging 14 points per game in his last two outings.

The task ahead won't get easier tonight against NBA MVP odds leader Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder's vaunted defense. The Memphis Grizzlies take on the New York Knicks in one of the most appealing games on the slate tonight, and Ja Morant will need to bring his best. With Jalen Brunson leading the NBA Clutch Player of the Year odds, this game will be all about the point guards, as New York could be without Josh Hart and Karl-Anthony Towns.

That should make it easier for Morant to put up significant scoring numbers against a New York defense that's allowing the ninth-most PPG to point guards (25.06). Plus, Morant has been bouncing back from an iffy January to average 22.3 PPG in February, and he's put up at least 23 in five of eight games this month.

With Anthony Edwards expected to be out tonight, look for Naz Reid to lead the Minnesota Timberwolves' offense against the lowly Utah Jazz. Thanks to a defense that's last in the league in rating (119.5), Utah is among the favorites to land Cooper Flagg by the NBA draft odds.

However, Flagg ain't saving them tonight against the wrath of "Two Words," also known as Reid.
