The Orlando Magic get a shot at redemption tonight as they host the Cleveland Cavaliers in a rematch of last year’s Eastern Conference playoffs. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET from Kia Center in Orlando (TNT, truTV, Max).

As of Tuesday afternoon, the Cavaliers are the 7.5-point favorites to beat the Magic in tonight's NBA matchup at 7:30 p.m. ET from Kia Center in Orlando. Just like they did last year in Game 7, I'm predicting the Cavaliers will beat the Magic and cover the spread (-7.5).

While the Magic are one of the league's best defensive teams, their offense is lagging behind. It's among the NBA's worst while ranking third-last in offensive rating (107.8) and field-goal percentage (44%). It just doesn't boast the scoring talent to keep up with Cleveland.

Thanks to NBA Coach of the Year odds favorite Kenny Atkinson, the Cavs trot out the NBA's top offense. It's first in both points per game (122.9) and offensive rating (122.6). So even if Orlando's stingy defense slows the Cavs down to some extent, the Magic still don't boast the talent to keep up with Cleveland, especially with the Cavaliers' defense ranking eighth in defensive rating (111.5)

I predict Cleveland will beat Orlando by a final score of Cavaliers 112, Magic 98.

It's been a bit of an inconsistent third season for 2022 No. 1 pick Paolo Banchero, with the 22-year-old missing a heap of games and taking a backseat to Franz Wagner as Jamahl Mosley's top scorer.

Banchero has been sporadic lately too while averaging fewer minutes, points, and rebounds after his two-month absence.

The Duke product is averaging 32.8 PRA across 10 games in February, and he's finished with fewer than 35.5 in seven of 10 contests, including in each of the last two. Now he's going toe-to-toe with NBA Defensive Player of the Year odds contender Evan Mobley.

Thanks to Mobley, the Cavs allow the NBA's sixth-lowest field-goal percentage (45.5%), and they rank top 12 in rebounds allowed (43.1) and assists given up (25.5). Banchero is in for a difficult evening.

Although Cleveland looks poised to take home the W, Orlando's defense should make it tough on several of the Cavaliers' best scorers. Our Andrew Brennan highlighted just how difficult the Magic can be for guards in his best NBA player prop bets tonight.

I'm following a similar theory with Darius Garland set to produce a quiet night against a defense that's No. 1 in the NBA in points allowed (105.2). Orlando has been especially rough on shooting guards, allowing the fewest points per game to the position in the NBA (20.46).

It doesn't help that Garland has been in a slump lately. While the two-time All-Star is averaging 21.3 points per game this season, he's seen that drop to just 18.6 in February. He's scored fewer than 18.5 points in four straight outings.

Sure, Orlando's defense is suffocating, but it's also allowing the ninth-highest 3-point percentage in the NBA (36.3%). Mitchell has also been on fire from behind the arc lately while posting consecutive games with four-plus threes and going 9-for-15 from deep (60%).

Given Mitchell's volume, he should get every opportunity to make Over 3.5 threes for the 30th time in 55 games.
