The Los Angeles Lakers carry a three-game win streak into their road meeting with the Memphis Grizzlies, but will be without two key players for the tilt. Read on for our Lakers vs. Grizzlies player props based on the best NBA odds.

After completing the biggest comeback of the NBA season in a win over the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday, the Lakers learned that LeBron James will be sidelined indefinitely with a foot injury. Los Angeles (29-32) will now try to extend its three-game win streak without both James and D’Angelo Russell (doubtful) against a talented Memphis squad.

The Grizzlies (36-23) sit in second place in the Western Conference standings and are 25-5 when playing at home. With a healthy lineup and more talent, Memphis is a three-possession favorite for Tuesday's nationally televised matchup. So we must turn to the player prop market to find betting value for this one.

Here are our best Lakers vs. Grizzlies player prop picks for Tuesday (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook, Caesars Sportsbook, and PointsBet; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Anthony Davis Under 31.5 points and assists (-115 via PointsBet) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

As I wrote in Sunday’s prop piece for the Lakers-Mavs matchup - when we went 3-0 on our picks - predicting which game we get a locked-in version of Anthony Davis is perhaps the most difficult proposition. The betting odds indicate we will get that Tuesday with the Lakers missing LeBron, but I honestly disagree with that theory.

Davis has averaged 24.9 points and 2.6 assists per game in the 39 contests that he has played without James since joining the Lakers, according to StatMuse. That aligns with NumberFire’s projection of 24.3 points and 3.5 assists for Davis on Tuesay, giving us more than a 30% edge on this Under at PointsBet.

Davis is a monster on the glass, averaging 12.4 rebounds per game this season. That’s why I’m avoiding his points, rebounds, and assists combo line of 43.5 here. We simply expect Davis to have a difficult time finding offensive production against a Grizzlies squad that ranks No. 1 in the league in defensive net rating.

Jaren Jackson Jr. Over 2.5 blocks (-130 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

It seems like just yesterday when the biggest controversy in sports was the validity of Jaren Jackson’s blocks in home games. But he continues to be a favorite in the Defensive Player of the Year race, thanks to an average of 3.2 blocks per game.

The Grizzlies ask a lot of Jackson on the defensive end. They ranked 20th in defensive rating when he was sidelined earlier in the year, but have been No. 1 in that metric since he returned to the floor. He cleans everything up at the rim, averaging 3.7 blocks per contest over the last 10 games and producing an average of 4.1 blocks in 23 home matchups this year.

Jackson swatted four shots in his lone meeting with the Lakers earlier this year, and we expect a similar showing while the visiting team attempts to play through Davis inside. This is priced between -130 and -139 at all of our top-rated sportsbooks, so we will take the slight discount at DraftKings for this four-star pick.

Dennis Schroder Over 14.5 points (-103 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐

While Davis is the obvious player to see a boost in production without James, don’t overlook how much the Lakers will lean on Dennis Schroder. The Lakers guard is averaging 15.6 points per game and has a usage rating of 21.8% in the 11 contests he has played without LeBron this season.

Assuming Russell (doubtful) can’t go again Tuesday, Schroder will get the start at point guard for the second time in three days. He scored 16 points on 5-of-12 shooting last time out, missing all four of his attempts from long range. Schroder has cleared this prop in three of his last six outings.

This prop is priced at 14.5 across the board, with the Under juiced as long as -133 at Caesars. As a result, that is the best place to play his Over on a night where we expect Schroder to be a big part of the offense from start to finish during a blowout.
