The Boston Celtics are one win away from taking the NBA Finals against the Dallas Mavericks, and we're breaking down our Mavericks vs. Celtics last-minute predictions based on the best NBA odds for Game 5.

While the Boston Celtics couldn't secure a sweep of the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Finals, the gentleman's sweep is still within reach. After a 122-84 loss in Game 4, Boston returns home to TD Garden for Game 5 on Monday at 8:30 p.m. ET (ABC).

With the support of Lucky the Leprechaun and the home crowd, the Celtics are 6.5-point favorites for Game 5 and are listed at -1800 to win it all, according to the NBA championship odds. But can Luka Doncic continue to bolster his NBA Finals MVP odds and keep Dallas' season alive?

Here are our best Mavericks vs. Celtics last minute predictions and NBA picks for Game 5.

Mavericks vs. Celtics prop bet predictions for today

Luka Doncic Over 3.5 made 3-pointers ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The NBA Finals have been a wild ride for Doncic. The hate was loud after Game 3, but his Game 4 performance was louder. Doncic managed to extend the Mavs' season one more game while dropping 29 in Game 5.

Though he did go 0-for-8 from three in the win, I'm expecting Doncic to continue firing deep bombs like his season depends on it. However, this time he should hit a few. Doncic went 8-for-21 from three in the first two games at TD Garden and has nailed at least four threes in eight of his last 11 contests.

If Doncic wants to continue trying to prove he's more interested in winning than whining, he'll need to bring his best from behind the arc in Game 5. The odds imply a 53.49% win probability, according to our odds converter, with a $10 bet paying out $18.70.

Jayson Tatum to record a double-double ⭐⭐⭐

No team has blown a 3-0 series lead in the NBA playoffs. That alone puts pressure on the Celtics to come through, but they should be able to put this overmatched Mavericks team away in Game 5 on their home court. Especially if Jayson Tatum plays like he did in Games 1 and 2.

While his shooting was poor in those wins, everything else he did was helping Boston. Tatum put up back-to-back double-doubles in TD Garden to start the NBA Finals, and he leads Boston in both rebounds and assists during the playoffs.

He's been a monster on the glass, and his playmaking instincts have consistently popped. Tatum is averaging 9.8 rebounds and six assists in the postseason, with 13 double-doubles in 18 games. These odds imply a 55.56% win probability, with a $10 bet paying an $8 profit.

Jaylen Brown Under 34.5 points + rebounds + assists ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Boston's postseason dominance has been so impressive because any of the team's top six players has been capable of going off. That's helped the Celtics win even when their All-Stars Tatum and Brown aren't at their best.

While Brown is the overwhelming favorite for NBA Finals MVP, he hasn't been overly impressive offensively against Dallas. The three-time All-Star is coming off a 10-point game and is averaging just 30.4 combined points, rebounds, and assists in the series. He's only topped 34.5 once in four games, and his 3-point shooting has been unimpressive. Brown is 6-for-25 from behind the arc against Dallas (24%).

The Celtics have been able to rely on so many different players to produce offensively, and I'm expecting another quieter game from Brown. The odds imply a 51.22% probability the Under here hits, with a $10 bet paying out $19.52.
