The Dallas Mavericks (39-43) and Sacramento Kings (40-42) renew hostilities one final time tonight for another opportunity to sneak into the playoffs and join the other 15 first-round participants.

The NBA’s leading rebounder finished the season averaging 13.9 boards per game. He should easily surpass that total tonight against a team he averaged 15.5 rebounds against during the regular season.

Sabonis has struggled a bit down the stretch, as he averaged just 13 rebounds per game in April and 11.1 per game in March. However, those March numbers are significantly skewed by two games in which he played fewer than 15 minutes. In his last 12 games, he’s pulled down at least 11 boards 11 times, and he’s grabbed at least 14 six times during that stretch.

Davis has played only nine games for the Mavericks, and he struggled in his four contests in March. However, he’s started to find his rhythm with the team of late, as he has taken over as the team’s best scorer. Davis is averaging 24.3 points per game in his last four, and he’s scored at least 27 in two of those contests.

Davis has faced the Kings four times this season. Though he’s never faced them while with the Mavericks, he has had success against them, scoring at least 30 in two of those four games, including the most recent one on Dec. 28.

Thompson has scored in single digits in three of his last four games entering the postseason. However, he does have a 19-point game against the Kings this season, and they're allowing the third-most 3-pointers per game.

With Thompson averaging three made threes per game, he has a great opportunity to break out of his slump. However, the price for his 3-point total Over is simply too expensive, so instead I’ll back him to score at least 15 points. After all, 60% of Thompson’s made shots are from long range, so take the better price for a prop that will hit if he shoots well.
