Despite the absence of Davis, the Mavericks will keep this close, and I predict the Warriors will beat the Mavericks by a final score of Warriors 121, Mavericks 114.
The Mavericks just beat the Warriors without Davis on February 12, thanks in large part to 42 points from Irving. But the role players stepped up too as Klay Thompson and Max Christie both scored 17.
Of course, that game was in Dallas, but I’m not overly concerned with this game being on the Warriors’ home floor. The Mavericks already beat them once on the road, and their one road loss was by just three points.

While Irving has only topped this number once in three games against the Warriors, he also had to compete with former teammate Luka Doncic in the two contests where failed to hit this mark. Irving has become the clear No. 1 scorer for the Mavericks with Doncic gone, and there’s no reason for that to change today.
I don’t expect Irving to score 42 as he did 11 days ago, but I also expect him to keep up his 30-point streak, even if he is playing a defense allowing the 10th-fewest points in the league. After all, the Mavericks have scored at least 111 against them all three times they’ve played.

Curry is averaging 6.1 assists per game, and he just recorded eight against the Mavericks in the last meeting between these two teams. That performance marked the fewest assists that Curry had dished out against the Mavericks this season.
This month, Curry is averaging just 5.4 assists, and he’s had four games with fewer than 5.5 assists. But Curry has never come close to missing 5.5 assists against the Mavericks this season, so I just don’t understand this line.
