After their dramatic playoff series in May, the Indiana Pacers (1-0) and New York Knicks (0-1) renew their rivalry tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN as we offer our best Pacers vs. Knicks player prop bets and odds.

The Knicks dropped their season opener against the Boston Celtics - who remain the NBA championship odds favorites - but they return home to Madison Square Garden in a quintessential buy-low spot for Jalen Brunson and a few other stars.

Brunson tied for the team lead in scoring in Tuesday's season-opening loss. His scoring was a bit muted because he played only 25 minutes, but he should see 30+ minutes tonight in a game that figures to be more competitive. 

Brunson averaged 31.5 points in 10 matchups (regular season and playoffs) against the Pacers last season. He hit the Over in six of those and eclipsed 29 points in 47 of 90 games overall.

Indiana allowed the fourth-most points per game to opponents and finished second in pace in 2023-24. This is a favorable matchup for New York, and we can expect the Knicks’ top scoring option to take advantage.

Haliburton’s assists prop is set at 8.5, but the odds on the Over range from -119 to -130 across our best sports betting apps. We can do much better by simply betting this line up by one assist.

Haliburton struggled with his shot in Wednesday’s opener and handed out just four assists. Indiana’s star point guard has averaged better than 10 assists per game in each of the last two seasons, so we can expect a much better performance tonight.

Haliburton posted a double-double in 44 of 69 regular season games last season including two of three against New York. We’re getting this prop at juicy +140 odds despite Hali cashing this prop in 63.7% of games a season ago.

Karl-Anthony Towns Over 11.5 rebounds ⭐⭐⭐

On opening night, we bet the Over on Towns’ combo prop, and he failed to cash. The game turned into a blowout as Boston tied the all-time three-pointers record, and Towns logged only 24 minutes.

Towns corralled seven rebounds in his short time on the court, but he should see north of 30 minutes in what should be a more competitive contest. He pulled down 12 rebounds in his only game against the Pacers last season and 11 in his lone matchup against them in 2022-23.

The Pacers finished middle-of-the-pack in rebounds allowed a season ago, but Indiana got into more than a few shootouts thanks to their generous defense and fast-paced style of play. Towns should have plenty of opportunities to hit the Over here.
