Best Pacers vs. Nuggets Odds, NBA Player Props & Score Predictions Tonight: April 6

The Indiana Pacers (46-31) will travel to face the Denver Nuggets (47-31) in a crucial matchup as both teams fight for better positioning in their respective conferences while trying to shorten their NBA championship odds. The Pacers, currently the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference, have a three-game buffer between themselves and the third and fifth seeds, while the Nuggets are just a half-game removed from both the third and fifth spots in the West.
With so much at stake, we’ll break down our Pacers vs. Nuggets prediction and player props, analyzing the betting odds to identify the best NBA picks for tonight’s game.

🔢 Pacers vs. Nuggets odds & betting lines
Here are the latest Pacers vs. Nuggets odds and betting lines from our best live betting sites.
🎯 Pacers vs. Nuggets score prediction: Nuggets 122, Pacers 118
The Nuggets are the better team here, but they’re probably not the 6.5-point better team. Denver is reeling down the stretch with losses to Warriors, Spurs, and Timberwolves over a four-day stretch.
On the year, adjusted net rating points to Denver (+3.6) being better than Indiana (+1.7), but not by as wide a margin as the odds suggest. Since the All-Star break, unadjusted net rating also gives Denver (+3.7) a slight edge over Indiana (+2.1).
The Nuggets’ advantage in net rating stems entirely from an advantage on offense. The Nuggets are 20th in defensive rating since the pause (115.1), which trails Indiana (113.6). In such a close matchup, I predict Denver will beat Indiana by a final score of Nuggets 122, Pacers 118.
Best bet: Pacers +6.5 (-110 via Caesars)

🏀 Best Aaron Gordon prop pick: Over 15.5 points ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Best odds: -105 via DraftKings ($10 to win $9.52)
The Indiana Pacers tend to roll over in the paint. Since the All-Star break, they rank fifth-worst in points allowed in the paint per contest (51.7). Those looks have come from both inside and outside the restricted area, with opposing teams converting the ninth-most field goals per contest in the restricted area (17.9) and the sixth-most in the non-restricted paint (9.1).
While Nikola Jokic is Denver’s leading interior scorer, power forward Aaron Gordon does plenty of damage near the rim as well. Since the break, Gordon is averaging 6.7 points in the paint per game on his way to 18.9 overall per contest. He exploded for 25 points - over just 24 minutes - in a Feb. 24 game against the Pacers.
With Gordon’s points line on the Pacers vs. Nuggets player prop markets set to 15.5, likely reduced because of Jamal Murray’s possible return, I’m excited about buying the Over. Denver will need to score in the paint, and, aside from Jokic, Gordon is their best option down low.
📊 Best Aaron Gordon prop bet odds
🏀 Best Tyrese Haliburton prop pick: Over 32.5 points and assists ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Best odds: -108 via FanDuel ($10 to win $9.26)
Denver’s inefficient defense points to some serious value on this prop for Tyrese Haliburton. This line opened at 31.5 last night but has already been bid up to 32.5 in some spots and 33.5 in others. Haliburton, despite the “down year,” is averaging 21.1 points and 11.2 assists since the All-Star break, clocking in right at this number.
Over the last 15 games, Denver has given up the sixth-most points per game to point guards (26.7) along with a league-average number of assists (8.6). Back in February, Haliburton scored 19 and dished out 15 assists against the Nuggets, shooting 5-for-10 from beyond the arc.
As the Pacers look to keep up with Denver’s fast-paced and efficient offense, look for Haliburton to take things into his own hands–literally–both as a shooter and as a passer. This NBA player prop line could easily close at 33.5 or higher, so lock in the 32.5 while it’s still on the board.
📊 Best Tyrese Haliburton prop bet odds
🏀 Best Nikola Jokic prop pick: Under 9.5 assists ⭐⭐⭐
Best odds: -110 via ESPN BET ($10 to win $9.09)
The Indiana Pacers have their flaws, but if their defense deserves credit for anything, it’s not giving up easy assisted looks. The Pacers have surrendered the sixth-fewest assists per game since the All-Star break (25) and the 12th-fewest assists per game this season (26).
When it comes to opposing centers, Indiana’s defense has given up the fourth-fewest assists per game to the position (3.6) and the second-fewest over the last 15 games (2.7). Of course, Nikola Jokic is a massive outlier, and he tallied 19 assists versus Indiana in February.
If that monster game concerns you, consider what the Pacers just did a few days ago against the Sacramento Kings. Domantas Sabonis logged 40 minutes but failed to record a single one of the Kings’ 22 assists. Trust the Pacers to limit Jokic as a passer tonight.
