Top NBA Parlay Picks for Saturday: Lean on Favored Cavaliers

Saturday in the NBA offers plenty of parlay pick opportunities to peruse in an evening slate that features 12 teams in action. We’ve identified a three-leg parlay that comes in with odds approaching the 7-to-1 range to give folks a real shot at an instant bankroll builder.
We’re looking to recent trends to spot a sensible parlay opportunity for NBA bettors. Two of our picks relate back to the fallout from a wild double-overtime game between the San Antonio Spurs and Washington Wizards from Friday night.
Our expectations for how both participants from that contest could respond filled in two of our three legs for Saturday’s parlay. The other comes from a look at how Sacramento Kings guard De'Aaron Fox might be adjusting to his role in the wake of the Tyrese Haliburton trade.
Here are my top parlay picks for Saturday’s NBA action (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook; pick confidence based on 1-to-5-star scale).
Saturday's NBA Parlay Picks
De'Aaron Fox Under 3.5 rebounds (+115) ????San Antonio Spurs +8.5 (-110) vs. Miami Heat ????Washington Wizards vs. Cleveland Cavaliers -8 (-110) ???

NBA Parlay Predictions
Fox Under 3.5 rebounds (+115)
In the aftermath of the Haliburton trade, it’s clear that Fox is destined to be the engine of the Kings offense moving forward. The point guard has the talent and dynamic ability to be both lead-facilitator and primary scorer for this Sacramento team. Without the rising star Haliburton present in a similar role, Fox should be cleared for takeoff. However, in the small sample of games since the deal with the Indiana Pacers, it’s possible we’re seeing a meager decline in one statistical category for the Kings guard.
In four games without Haliburton, Fox hasn’t been quite as much of a factor in the rebounding department as he had been throughout the season. Fox has totaled 11 rebounds in the four games, and six of those came in one contest. In the other three games, he totaled two, two, and one rebound. That’s a mark that falls below his 3.8 rebounds per game on the season. It's also below the 3.5 for which he’s prescribed in Saturday night’s game against the Denver Nuggets.
Adding to the ledger for this pick, Denver is extremely stingy on the glass. The Nuggets have allowed the fewest total rebounds per game to their opponents this season. It’s certainly plausible we’re reading too deeply into such a small sample on Fox’s recent totals. However, with the Under sitting at plus money, I want to take my shot to start our NBA parlay picks.
Spurs +8.5 (-110)
The Spurs needed two overtimes to shake off the Wizards in a thrilling game on Friday night. While that might give one the sense that San Antonio’s roster would be pretty worn out ahead of its second game of a back-to-back on Saturday in Miami, I actually like the Spurs at the current line offered at DraftKings.
The Miami Heat played Friday night, too, beating the New York Knicks on the road. So there’s not really a distinct travel advantage for either side. In fact, the Spurs have been the better team in no rest situations this season at 7-5 against the spread. Miami is just 4-5 ATS playing the second night of a back-to-back.
Another strength for the Spurs has been their ability to keep games close on the road. Though San Antonio is 13-18 straight up in road games on the year, the Spurs are 17-13-1 ATS as the away team. Saturday’s line set at Heat -8.5 is a perfect example of the kind of line the Spurs tend to sneak beneath as the road team. Riding some of the emotion from their OT win on Friday, I look for the Spurs to give the Hear a run for their money on Saturday. This will stay within the number for the second leg of our parlay.
Cavaliers -8 (-110)
On the other side of that double-overtime thriller won by the Spurs was a Wizards team that now must pick itself up off the pavement. Though Washington is 4-3-1 ATS in the second night of back-to-back situations, Friday’s loss was no common affair. While I trust the Spurs to keep the energy high after winning the marathon game on Friday, it’s tough to get right back out there with that same intensity coming out on the other end.
Making matters more difficult is the fact the Wizards will face the best defense in the NBA on Saturday. The Cleveland Cavaliers have allowed just 102.6 points per game to their opponents. They regularly stifle scoring with some of the best numbers in the league in terms of metrics like effective field goal percentage and true shooting percentage.
Washington, offensively, is mediocre in those categories as it is. If the NBA’s No. 22 scoring unit gets off to a slow start, I don’t see the Wizards finding the extra gear they might need to mount a comeback to stay within the eight points against Cleveland’s assertive style of play. Back the Cavs to win by nine or more to complete our NBA parlay picks.
Combined NBA Parlay Odds: Fox Under 3.5 rebounds (+115) + Spurs +8.5 (-110) + Cavs -8 (-110) = +683
