Oklahoma City has taken a commanding 2-0 series lead over New Orleans, and we're offering our top Pelicans vs. Thunder player props and expert picks based on the best NBA odds.

The New Orleans Pelicans (49-33) return home on Saturday in a 2-0 series hole against the Western Conference's No. 1 seed, the Oklahoma City Thunder (57-25).

Game 3 between these teams is set to tip off at 3:30 p.m. ET from Smoothie King Center (TNT), with Oklahoma City set as a 1.5-point favorite for Saturday's game.

Game 1 was a bit of a roller-coaster ride, but the second contest of the series was much more straightforward, as the Thunder emerged with a 32-point win.

Jonas Valanciunas Under 25.5 points + rebounds ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Valanciunas pulled down a season-high 20 rebounds in Game 1. Then he notched just seven in Game 2. Valanciunas averaged 8.8 rebounds per game during the regular season, and he only grabbed 15-plus rebounds three times. From a rebounding perspective, Game 1 was an outlier.

In Game 2, Valanciunas scored 19 points after just 13 in Game 1. He’s been picking up the slack with the absence of Zion Williamson. But others will enjoy an easier time scoring at home and Valanciunas' opportunities will drop in a low-scoring game.

CJ McCollum Over 3.5 3-pointers made ⭐⭐⭐

McCollum is just 3-of-14 from deep to start the series. However, heading home to a familiar playing environment will be great for him in Game 3.

He made at least four 3-pointers in his last three home games to end the season. And although his shooting percentage is low during the playoffs, it won’t need to get much better for him while trying to hit the Over on this total. He’s attempted at least nine 3-pointers in eight of his last nine games.

For a price of +155, this is simply too good to pass up for a shooter who can get hot. Those odds lead to a 39.22% implied probability and a $25.50 payout on a $10 wager.

Josh Giddey Over 9.5 points ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Giddey scored 13 points in Game 2 after just two in Game 1. He's endured an up-and-down season against the Pelicans. Giddey tallied 25 points during his last outing in New Orleans. But he scored just four in the same arena prior to that matchup.

The guard has registered at least 13 points three times in five games against the Pelicans. However, when he misses the mark, he misses badly. But this number is very attainable for Giddey. And he's going to easily clear it if the Pelicans play defense like they did in Game 2.
