📊 Thunder vs. Timberwolves pick & odds: Who will win tonight's NBA matchup?
As of this morning, the Thunder are favored by 8.5 points to beat the Timberwolves in tonight's NBA matchup at 9:30 p.m. ET from the Target Center in Minneapolis. I like Under 230 (-108) in this matchup with such a wide spread. The total is 228 at other best sports betting apps, so we’re getting two free points at DraftKings.

Here are the latest Thunder vs. Timberwolves odds and betting lines from our best live betting sites.
🎯 Thunder vs. Timberwolves score prediction: Thunder 110, Timberwolves 101
It’s fair to anticipate a worse showing than usual from the Timberwolves with both Rudy Gobert and Julius Randle on the shelf. However, with Randle, Minnesota’s offensive rating sits at 115.1, and it improves to 116.2 without him. Likewise, Minnesota's defensive rating is better when it plays without Randle.
When Randle sits, the Timberwolves play more efficiently, and they do so at a faster pace. You may think all of these factors point to value on the over. Unfortunately, so does the rest of the world - as well as the betting market. Although Minnesota’s games have featured an average total score of 219.9, the Over/Under for this contest is a whopping 230 points at DraftKings
We’re just getting too much value on this bloated total. Don’t forget that Oklahoma City leads the NBA in both points allowed per game and defensive efficiency. As a result, I predict the Oklahoma City Thunder will beat the Minnesota Timberwolves by a final score of Thunder 110, Timberwolves 101.
Best bet: Under 230 (-108 via DraftKings)

🏀 Best Player X prop pick: Jaden McDaniels Over 15.5 Points ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Best odds: -104 via FanDuel ($10 to win $9.62)
This pick may run counter to the full-game Under, but I’m a big fan of Jaden McDaniels in this spot. When Randle sits, McDaniels scores 17.9 points per game. Without Gobert, he scores 21. This sample included a 21-point game against the Thunder just two weeks ago.
McDaniels isn’t a high-volume guy, but he has to be with both Randle and Gobert sidelined. The Timberwolves will lean heavily on Anthony Edwards, but the tough Oklahoma City defense will try to shut him down. He only tallied 23 against them in the contest where McDaniels erupted for 21.
It helps that the Thunder don’t defend the corner well. Oklahoma City has allowed the fifth-most corner-threes per game. Although McDaniels is shooting a shaky 29.2% from the corner this year, he shot 36.5% from there last year, and he is still averaging a pair of corner-three attempts per game.
📊 Best Jaden McDaniels prop bet odds
🏀 Best Anthony Edwards prop pick: Under 33.5 Points & Assists ⭐⭐⭐
Best odds: -107 via BetRivers ($10 to win $9.35)
Edwards has the unenviable task of taking on one of the NBA’s best defenses tonight. Things haven’t gone well for him in this spot so far this season, as he scored just 20 in 39 minutes against the Thunder in December and 23 in 36 against them two weeks ago.
Crucially, Oklahoma City has held Edwards to a brutal field goal percentage (36.7%) while limiting his overall shot attempts (15), so positive shooting regression wouldn’t be enough to bail him out as a scorer. Edwards averages 21 attempted field goals per game this year.
While Ant contributes plenty as a passer, Oklahoma City allows the fourth-fewest assists per game. Across two matchups with the Thunder this year, Edwards has dished out just nine assists. Most sportsbooks have this prop at 32.5, so take the 33.5 at BetRivers (-107).
📊 Best Anthony Edwards prop bet odds
🏀 Best Naz Reid prop pick: Over 8.5 Rebounds ⭐⭐⭐
Best odds: +116 via FanDuel ($10 to win $11.60)
If you’re looking for a plus-money Thunder-Timberwolves prop, look no further than Naz Reid. The backup center will have to start for Rudy Gobert tonight, and across two games without the high-paid Frenchman, Reid racked up 22 boards, good for 11 per contest.
The last time Reid saw the Thunder, he came down with 14 boards. Earlier in the year, he notched eight against them, despite coming off the bench and sharing duties with Gobert, who played 31 minutes.
The Thunder do a lot well, but their 48.7% rebound rate ranks a dismal 25th. Look for Reid to contribute on the glass in a big way tonight - this is a rare opportunity for him to show his value as a starter in a contract year.
