🔥 LeBron James Under 24.5 points ⭐⭐⭐⭐

James struggled on Saturday, as he scored just 19 points on 8-of-18 shooting from the field. He’s now scored 19 or fewer points in three of his last five games. Despite averaging over 24 points per game during the regular season, we anticipate more struggles for him on Tuesday.

The Timberwolves have been a terrible matchup for James this season. While he scored 33 in one of his three regular-season games against them, he scored just 26 points combined in his other two games. The Timberwolves have the fifth-best scoring defense in the league, and it’s not going to be easy for James to overcome that.

Don’t take him to score more than his listed total until oddsmakers drop the line.

🔥 Naz Reid Under 1.5 made 3-pointers ⭐⭐⭐

Reid was unbelievable in Game 1, as he knocked down six of his nine attempts from beyond the arc. While the performance was remarkable, it’s unlikely it’s a sign of things to come, as it was just the third time Reid made six 3-pointers in a game all year.

Reid has made multiple threes in just two of his last eight games, so it’s not too surprising to see this prop set at 1.5. Though Reid made two 3-pointers in three of his four games against the Lakers during the regular season, he never made more. In the fourth game, he went 0-for-5 from beyond the arc.

There is a lot of value in taking this Under, especially with the price ranging from +120 to +135. Reid doesn’t generally shoot like he did on Saturday, and the Lakers have the 11th-best 3-point shooting defense in the league.

🔥 Anthony Edwards Over 25.5 points ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Edwards shot just 36.4% from the field in Game 1, and yet, he still managed to score 22 points. Considering he shot 44.7% from the field during the regular season, he should see improvement on Tuesday. Even if that improvement is only nominal, he doesn’t need much to go right to hit this Over.

Edwards averaged 27.6 points per game during the regular season. In four games against the Lakers, he only scored more than 25.5 points once. However, he only played more than 27 minutes in two of those games, which is unusual for a player who averaged 36.3 points per game this season.

Look for him to see significant playing time again, as he shoots at least 40% like he did in three of the four regular-season meetings with the Lakers.
