The No. 1 seed Auburn Tigers (30-5) meet the No. 5 seed Michigan Wolverines (27-9) in tonight's NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 showdown. Tipoff is set for 9:39 p.m. ET (CBS) from State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

🔥 Vladislav Goldin Over 7.5 rebounds ⭐⭐⭐⭐

When I discussed the best Auburn vs. Michigan prediction, this was my best player prop of the game. Nothing has changed.

Goldin isn’t even the leading rebounder on the Wolverines, as he is averaging nearly three fewer rebounds per game than Danny Wolf. But Goldin has been on a tear of late, pulling down at least eight boards in four of his last five, including 12 against the Texas A&M Aggies in the second round.

The Tigers are a solid rebounding team, but the Aggies finished the year ranked fifth in the nation in rebounds per game, and Goldin had no trouble against them. The price for this Over is a bit expensive, but with how Goldin is playing, there’s no reason to think that any team can stop him on the glass.

🔥 Denver Jones Over 10.5 points ⭐⭐⭐

Jones has been one of the unsung heroes for the Tigers this season, as he’s very quietly averaging 10.8 points per game. While that makes him just the fifth-leading-scorer on the team, you could argue that no player has been more consistent.

Jones has scored at least eight points in 10 consecutive games, if you disregard his eight-minute cameo against the Kentucky Wildcats on March 1. In those 10 games, he scored at least 11 points six times. 

Because two of the Wolverines' last three games have been low-scoring, there is an illusion that they’re a defensive-minded team. However, they average 78.3 points per game and are allowing 71.3 per contest. Those numbers play right into the Tigers’ hands, suggesting this game will be somewhat high-scoring. In that type of back-and-forth game, I love Jones to hit his Over, especially for this great price.

🔥 Johni Broome Under 28.5 points + rebounds ⭐⭐⭐

Broome is averaging 18.4 points and 10.7 rebounds per game, but I’m taking him to go Under this combo prop tonight. The Wolverines are one of the best rebounding teams in the country, and the size of Goldin and Wolf could be problematic for Broome on the boards. 

Additionally, Broome hasn’t had a great tournament thus far. He is 0-of-7 from beyond the arc, 9-of-22 from the field, and just 4-of-11 from the free-throw line. He has just 22 points in two games, and while he’s pulled down 23 total rebounds, he’s yet to top 25 points and rebounds in a single game during the NCAA Tournament.

Broome was dominant during the SEC tournament, and he finished the regular season with 34 points against the Alabama Crimson Tide. But this isn’t a great matchup for him. If he starts knocking down 3-pointers, this may be a bad play, but with how he played in the first two rounds, backing him to hit his combined season averages would be an incorrect play.
