Duke (20-2, 12-0 ACC) will attempt to win its 17th straight game of the season when it takes the court at Littlejohn Coliseum in Clemson, S.C., tonight at 6:30 p.m. ET (ESPN) against Clemson (18-5, 10-2 ACC).

Led by freshman phenom Cooper Flagg, our Duke vs. Clemson prediction and odds expect the Blue Devils to cover as 6.5-point favorites as they continue to prove why they're atop the March Madness odds.

This isn't the only huge game on the slate today. Mike Spector has you taken care of with all-day action with this Kansas vs. Kansas State prediction and Alabama vs. Arkansas prediction.

Duke vs. Clemson ATS prediction

Duke to cover the spread: -6.5 ⭐⭐⭐

It's starting to feel a bit like Flagg isn't quite getting the attention he deserves for how he's helped turn Duke into a juggernaut that evokes memories of the Mike Krzyzewski days in Durham. Yes, he leads the Wooden Award odds by a wide margin, but considering the buzz - both positive and negative - that past Duke stars have received, it's almost like he's flying under the radar.

However, it doesn't seem to matter how little attention he's getting. He continues to dominate both ends of the court for the Blue Devils, who are the only team in the country to rank among the top four in both offensive and defensive adjusted efficiency, per KenPom. And Clemson is going to be in for a long evening because of it.

The Tigers are coming off a triple-OT loss to a bad Georgia Tech team (99th on KenPom), and Clemson just doesn't have the defense to stop Flagg, nor the offense to keep up. The Tigers are 99th in PPG (77.3), 104th in field goal percentage (46.2%), and 94th in defensive rating.

With Jon Scheyer's roster having multiple All-ACC talents around Flagg (Kon Knueppel, Tyrese Proctor), the Blue Devils should cover for the third straight game. If they do, a $10 bet pays a $9.52 profit.

Cooper Flagg Over 3.5 assists ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Without question, Flagg is living up to the NBA draft odds as the favorite to hear his name called first by Adam Silver. The reason he's such a can't-miss prospect is because of his all-around game; from his elite defense to his scoring touch, he's as good as it gets in college basketball.

What makes him so lethal on the offensive end - he's seventh in OBPR, per EvanMiya - is his court vision and ability to be a facilitator. Flagg is the only player at a high-major averaging 19.5-plus PPG and four-plus APG - he's gone Over 3.5 assists in 12 of 22 games, including seven of his last 10.

With Clemson being 228th in assists allowed per game (10.3), our other best sports betting sites have this prop priced as short as -150. But these odds from bet365 pay an $8.70 profit on a $10 winning bet.
