Georgia Tech is a very dribble-reliant offense which has been without one of its best shot creators since early February. Javian McCollum last played on Feb. 4, and was the team’s fourth-leading scorer averaging 12.2 points per game. 

While Georgia Tech is 6-3 since McCollum has been out, it ranks 200th in adjusted offensive efficiency in that span, per BartTorvik. The Yellow Jackets have averaged just 52.7 points in those three losses, which doesn’t bode well for keeping up with Duke.

The Blue Devils rank second in adjusted offensive efficiency and fourth in adjusted defensive efficiency. Those are big reasons Duke has bludgeoned ACC opponents lately, winning all but one game of an eight-game win streak by 18-plus points.

Duke has covered the spread in seven consecutive games, and I expect the Blue Devils to cover for the eighth time in 10 games when playing on four or more day's rest.

All of the other best sports betting sites where one can back Duke at -22.5 have the juice set to at least -114, while bet365 is the only sportsbook offering the standard -110 juice to lay the points with the favorites.

🔥 Kon Knueppel Over 2.5 made 3-pointers ⭐⭐⭐

Comparing Duke’s last three Quad 1 games over the previous five weeks to all other teams against Quad 1 competition, it ranks second in adjusted offensive efficiency, fourth in effective field goal percentage, and third in 3-point percentage. 

But the most eye-popping statistic is that against the best competition, Duke made a whopping 50% as a team from beyond the arc.

The hoop should look like an ocean to the Blue Devils against a Georgia Tech team that allows opponents to attempt 40.8% of their shots from long range, fifth-most in the conference.

Knueppel has made three or more 3-pointers in three of the last six games, and buried four on eight attempts in the regular season meeting against Georgia Tech.
