March Madness MVP Odds & Predictions: Who is the Best Player in NCAA Tournament Entering Sweet 16?

After a chalky opening weekend, the stage has been set for the Sweet 16. All four No. 1 seeds are still alive in the NCAA Tournament, making the path to an unexpected national champion more unlikely.
As a result, the best way to find value in the futures market might be to take a shot at the March Madness MVP odds.
These lines will be better than the national championship market, and hopefully, our March Madness MVP odds and predictions will help get you on the right track ahead of games today.

🏀 March Madness MVP predictions
Here are my best March Madness MVP picks ahead of the Sweet 16, and check out the rest of our March Madness Sweet 16 predictions:
⛹️ Cooper Flagg, Duke
📊 Best odds: +300 via FanDuel | Implied win probability: 25%
Duke is the best team in college basketball and my pick to cut down the nets. However, there is minimal value in having that opinion. The Blue Devils are +225 to win the title and -185 to make the Final Four at BetMGM.
EvanMiya’s latest projections give Duke a 33% chance of winning the championship. I’d be surprised if that happens without Cooper Flagg winning the Most Outstanding Player of the Tournament Award, suggesting slight value in his latest odds.
⛹️ J’Wan Roberts, Houston
📊 Best odds: +2900 via FanDuel | Implied win probability: 3.33%
EvanMiya’s projections give Houston the second-best odds (16.8%) to win the NCAA Tournament. The Cougars are a fun team to attack in this market because they have at least four candidates to win this award.
I like the +2900 price tag on J’Wan Roberts, who appeared healthy in the first weekend. He recorded 18 points, eight rebounds, and five assists against Gonzaga.
If Roberts were to shut down Flagg in the Final Four, I could see him doing enough as a scorer and rebounder to earn plenty of votes.
