After everyone’s favorite 'undeserving' blue blood snuck into the tournament field, North Carolina put its best foot forward in Tuesday’s First Four game against San Diego State, demolishing the Aztecs to reach the Round of 64.
Although the emphatic nature of the Tar Heels’ win has steamed them up to 1.5-point betting favorites over the No. 6 seed Ole Miss Rebels, we still don’t mind the value of their -120 moneyline odds.
Since the First Four began in 2011, 12 of 26 (46.1%) at-large participants advanced beyond the Round of 64. UNC lands just a handful of spots behind Ole Miss in the KenPom rankings and has momentum after a tremendous showing in Dayton, Ohio.

🚀 Parlay pick #2: No. 8 UConn over No. 9 Oklahoma

The two-time defending national champions played around with their food this season, but the UConn Huskies still have one of the most efficient offenses in college basketball (14th adjusted offensive efficiency per KenPom).
Oklahoma ranks 322nd in the nation in two-point defense, an area that UConn can exploit against the Sooners. The Huskies are 16th in the country in two-point shooting percentage.
OU struggled to take down quality competition as the Sooners finished just 6-12 in their conference slate and went 4-10 against teams who ended up with a better NCAA Tournament seed than they did.

On Thursday afternoon, we expect this High Point team that ranks 12th in the country in effective field goal percentage and 46th in the land in 3-point percentage to give Purdue all it can handle.
As an 8.5-point betting underdog, High Point is +300 on the moneyline at FanDuel to pull off what would go down as one of the biggest stunners of the tournament. But Purdue is no stranger to upset victimhood in March, and this year’s Boilermaker group has flaws defensively, ranking 348th in two-point defense.
