We learned nothing from the Huskies' first-round win over Arkansas State. They beat the Red Wolves 103-34, holding the No. 15 seed to just 17.1% shooting. While UConn is certainly in for a tougher game on Monday than in round one, it'll still dominate the Jackrabbits.
The Huskies have won 11 consecutive games. Nine of those victories have been by at least 27 points, and all of their wins during that stretch have been by at least 20. During that span, they defeated the South Carolina Gamecocks and the Creighton Bluejays twice. If those teams couldn’t remain competitive against UConn, how will South Dakota State?
The Jackrabbits have 30 wins this season, but their record is directly impacted by their schedule. The Summit League doesn’t have a single team that can compete with them, and in their biggest test of the year, the Jackrabbits lost by 46 to the Texas Longhorns. Don’t overthink this.

Bueckers performed exactly, as expected, in the first round. She didn’t pad her stats against an inferior opponent and ended the game with just 11 points in 22 minutes. While I expect her to play more on Monday in a more competitive game, she still won’t go over this number.
Bueckers has now played in 18 of the 20 games that the Huskies have won by at least 30 points, but she’s still only topped 20 points in five of those contests. In a game that should be lopsided, there’s no reason to expect Bueckers to do more than she needs to before taking her spot on the bench in the fourth quarter.
This is only a four-star play because Bueckers absolutely can top this number if needed. She’s averaging 18.7 points per game and has proven she can take over a game if necessary numerous times this season. However, on Monday, it won’t be necessary.

For the final leg of this parlay, I’m backing Bueckers to dish out at least six assists for a really good price. She only had four assists in the first round, and she’s now recorded four or fewer helpers in three of her last four.
That said, Bueckers is still averaging 4.8 assists per contest, and the Jackrabbits like to play at a fast pace. They’re averaging 76.3 points per game, and while they won’t get anywhere near that number on Monday, their desire to push the tempo will help Bueckers and the Huskies’ starters to score plenty early on.
This is a risky play, but Bueckers has at least six assists in five of her last nine games, and in one of those games, she only played 27 minutes.
