Our NFL Week 3 predictions begin with the New York Jets hosting the New England Patriots on Thursday Night Football. The game kicks off at 8:15 p.m. ET from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. The broadcast will be available on Prime Video.

Add to your Patriots vs. Jets prediction and Patriots vs. Jets player props with the help of my top anytime touchdown scorer predictions for TNF.

My picks went 2-for-2 on Monday Night Football.

We earned a 3.45-unit profit to bring our 2024-25 season total to minus-1.35 units following a sluggish start and an unlucky Sunday slate in Week 2.

We can get back in the black by hitting just one of these TNF picks.

I was floored to see odds as high as these from our NFL prop betting sites via SBR's NFL player prop odds tool. But I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth.

The 1-1 Patriots are much better than anyone expected through the first two games of head coach Jerod Mayo's tenure.

Henry has been a big part of that, especially while catching eight of 12 targets for 109 yards in last week's overtime loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

Henry has played at least 83% of the offensive snaps in both games. He's received only one red-zone target this season, but he caught six of seven for six touchdowns inside the opponents' 20-yard line last year.

The Jets have yet to surrender a touchdown to a tight end, but they have yielded a nice nine catches on 11 targets for 69 yards. Henry proved himself as the top option in Jacoby Brissett's sputtering passing offense and I expect another heavy workload during TNF.

A $10 bet placed through our FanDuel promo code would return a $50 profit if Henry crosses the goal line.

Jets anytime touchdown scorer prediction: Mike Williams, WR ⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: +490 via FanDuel | Implied probability: 16.95%

I'm less confident in a bet on Williams at nearly identical anytime touchdown scorer odds. But I see enough in his Week 2 stats to be intrigued.

Though Williams had just one 19-yard catch (on one target) in his second game with the Jets, he played 65% of the snaps in Week 2 vs. 18% in Week 1. That ranked third among the team's receiving corps.

The Patriots' 76% catch rate allowed to opposing receivers ranks 31st in the NFL. Their 381 yards given up to the position rank 29th.

FanDuel's market-best +490 odds would return a $49 profit on a winning $10 bet. That's a difference of $12 when shopping against DraftKings' market-low +370 odds.
