Things are about to get downright scary for the Cleveland Browns on Halloween if they drop this divisional matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals and fall to 2-6. Here are our Week 8 Bengals-Browns same-game parlay picks for Monday Night Football.

The Browns opened the year hoping to bide time with Jacoby Brissett under center while awaiting the return of Deshaun Watson from suspension. But the Browns have lost four straight games entering Week 8, That's potentially a bad omen as they welcome one of the top offenses in the AFC for Monday Night Football on Halloween.

Here are my same-game parlay picks for the Week 8 Monday Night Football matchup between the Bengals and Browns (odds via FanDuel Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Same-Game Parlay Predictions for Bengals vs. Browns

Over 45.5 (-112) ★★★

The Browns have seen their games go 5-2 to the Over this season as a result of a capable offense and a friendly scoring defense providing environments for shootouts on a frequent basis. The scoring defense of the Bengals is the only aspect of Monday night’s matchup that could suggest a low-scoring affair.

Cincinnati has allowed the sixth-fewest points per game in the NFL this season at 18.9 PPG, a trend that has mostly held serve regardless of home or road. But the Bengals’ potential to pour points onto a Browns' defense allowing 26.6 points per game (30th in NFL) should bring this Over into range.

The Bengals have averaged 24.7 points per game this season on offense, tied for eighth in the league. The Browns have had a surprisingly effective offense, too, averaging 24.0 points per game. In four Cleveland home games this season, the Over is a perfect 4-0, making Monday night a great environment for a Halloween shootout.

Mixon Over 65.5 rushing yards (-110) ★★★★

Bengals running back Joe Mixon has not been a prominent producer for the offense this season, but he’s still been getting regular opportunities to touch the football. Monday might be the game that finally brings some more positive results in his direction.

Mixon has cleared this FanDuel rushing line just twice in seven games this season but he faces a Cleveland defense that has been especially friendly against the run. The Browns have allowed 135.6 rushing yards per game, which ranks 25th in the NFL.

Averaging 17.3 rushing attempts per game, Mixon is still getting the lion’s share of the running back workload. With the Bengals favored on the road, this might finally be the week he does something with it, boosting his 3.3 yards per carry average against a Browns defense permitting 4.7 YPC to their opponents this season.

Boyd anytime touchdown scorer (+145) ★★★

Tyler Boyd has returned to a role of significance for the Bengals over the past couple of weeks as he’s found downfield openings in the defense that QB Joe Burrow has enjoyed exploiting. Boyd has garnered 15 targets across his last two games, with his most recent outing being an eight-catch, 155-yard outburst in which he scored his third touchdown of the season.

Things get interesting now for the seventh-year wideout with Ja’Marr Chase out of the lineup due to a hip injury. The party for Boyd should roll on for the foreseeable future, starting with Monday night’s matchup with Cleveland.

Though the Browns have allowed only eight passing touchdowns in seven games this season, Burrow’s inclinations and abilities should be enough to counteract that trend. Mixon’s predicted success could certainly extend into the red zone, but I like Burrow to throw for at least one score. Boyd’s upside at a favorable +145 odds is a huge boost to our parlay odds via FanDuel. DraftKings Sportsbook lists Boyd at +130 to find paydirt.
