Sunday’s game will be played at 1 p.m. ET (CBS/Paramount+) at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, NY. The Bills are favored by 8.5 points.

Broncos’ rookie quarterback Bo Nix has had a magical first season in Denver. He led the Broncos to a 10-7 record, as he threw 29 touchdown passes. Can he pull off an improbable upset on Sunday as part of our NFL Wild Card Weekend best bets?

SGP predictions for Broncos vs. Bills

Our NEW NFL player prop odds tool can help you find the best odds on any market across legal sportsbooks in your area!

Bo Nix 250+ passing yards (+165) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Let’s start this parlay off with a long shot. Nix has thrown for at least 263 yards in two of his last three games. One of those performances was against the Kansas City Chiefs’ backups, but Nix has consistently proven that he can throw for a lot of yards in the right matchup this season.

Nix has thrown for at least 250 yards six times this year. Each of those performances came after Week 7, as the rookie QB settled into the speed of the NFL.

The Bills rank 24th in the NFL in passing yards allowed, giving up 226.1 per game. They’re also giving up 6.6 yards per attempt, which ranks 19th. With the Broncos likely to be playing from behind, according to the 8.5-point spread, this is just too good of a price for this low of a number.

If Nix eclipses 250 passing yards, the Broncos should be in a good position to cover the spread, which Mike Spector believes to be the case in the Broncos vs. Bills prediction

Bills Over 27.5 points (-122) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

With their starters on the field, the Bills have scored at least 30 points in nine of their last 10 games. This includes multiple games against defenses that rank in the top 10 in the NFL in scoring defense.

The Broncos are allowing just 18.3 points per game, which ranks third in the league. But they also gave up at least 30 points in three of their last five games of the season.

The Bills enter this game as the second-highest-scoring team in football, as they’re averaging 30.9 points per game. The Broncos’ season-long stats look good, but when you look at how they’ve played lately, it’s not hard to see that the Bills have the advantage.

Josh Allen 50+ rushing yards (+115) ⭐⭐⭐

The success of the Broncos’ run defense is actually why I like this prop as the third leg of this parlay. The Broncos allowed just 96.4 rushing yards per game this season, the third-best mark in the league. They also gave up just 3.9 rushing yards per attempt, which was the second-fewest in the NFL.

Because of how good the Broncos are at stopping the run, James Cook is going to struggle in this game. That means that the ball will be in the hands of Allen much more often than usual.

Allen didn’t actually do anything in Week 18 after getting credited with the start by taking the first snap and then returning to the bench. In the two games before that, he ran for 30 yards or fewer in each contest. But he has topped 50 yards five times this season.

Two of those performances came in the last five weeks of the campaign. And while Allen should have no trouble throwing against the 19th-ranked Broncos’ pass defense, he’s proven all season long that he’s not shy about picking up necessary yards with his legs.
