Buccaneers +2 (-112) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
A team that can oscillate from manhandling contenders to being blown out by the Broncos is a difficult one to pin down on a point spread wager but the Bucs (3-1 ATS) have shown more good than bad through four weeks. Getting points with them against another inconsistent team feels like the play, even on the road.
The Falcons are 1-3 ATS this season and it’s not as though Tampa has displayed a particular road weakness. For now, we’ll count the 26-7 loss to the Denver Broncos as the anomaly and take the points with the Bucs on Thursday night.
Tampa is drawing +2 from DraftKings and +1.5 from the rest of our best sportsbooks. As long as we’re getting a line better than +1, our strategy will stick with the spread rather than the more aggressive moneyline, although +110 odds on Bucs ML would juice up the SGP if you’re feeling daring.
Bijan Robinson Over 61.5 rushing yards (-105) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Bijan Robinson is too talented not to eventually break out with another big game.
While Robinson has totaled just 59 rushing yards across those two games, he’s still garnered more rushing attempts than Tyler Allgeier. Against a Tampa defense allowing the 11th-most rushing yards per game (131.5), someone in this backfield should produce.
Although you’re playing with fire betting it to be Robinson after his recent outputs, his rushing line has gotten too juicy to ignore. At 61.5 yards from DraftKings, we’re leaning on Robinson seeing the volume to clear this line.
Bucky Irving Over 45.5 rushing yards (-120) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Bucky Irving is the most talented running back on the Bucs. Week by week, we’re seeing the coaching staff slowly come to the realization with Irving’s snap share slowly ticking toward an even split with Rachaad White last week.
Irving has had an equal or better YPC compared to White in every game this season and Thursday he’ll take on a Falcons defense that has allowed 145.5 rushing yards per game.
Though we can find Irving at 43.5 or 44.5 yards at several sportsbooks, DraftKings’ line of 45.5 yards is worthwhile because it juices our SGP odds up to +650. No other sportsbook sees this parlay pushed to +600 or better, so the value lies with DraftKings this time.
