The Bucs had their bye week to regroup after dropping their second game of the season. With WFT 1-7 ATS this season, we are backing Tampa in our Buccaneers and Washington picks for Week 10.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a great opportunity to return to their winning ways when they head to FedExField on Sunday. They lost to the Saints in Week 8, but they have had a bye week to recharge and should be far too strong for the Washington Football Team. The Bucs remain atop the NFC South with a 6-2 record, while Washington (2-6 straight up) is bottom of the NFC East after losing four in a row. It is also coming off a bye.

Here are my picks and predictions for the NFL Week 10 matchup between the Buccaneers and Washington (odds via FanDuel; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Buccaneers vs. Washington Odds Analysis

Tampa has been installed as a 9.5-point favorite for this game. Most sportsbooks have -110 on the Bucs to cover, but Unibet is offering -109. FanDuel and BetMGM have -110 on Washington +9.5, while FOX Bet has -105 on Washington +9.

FanDuel and Unibet are the best options for Over 51.5 points on the total, as both sportsbooks have -105 on that outcome. The SBR betting consensus is showing a large majority backing Washington on the spread, while slightly leaning toward the Under.

Buccaneers vs. Washington Predictions

Tampa Bay -9.5 (-110)

The Bucs were rejuvenated after their bye week last season. They rested, regrouped, and did not lose another game on their way to a Super Bowl victory. They should be energized and eager to get back on track after their 36-27 defeat to the Saints. Tom Brady will, however, be without some key weapons, as Antonio Brown is unlikely to play, while both Chris Godwin and Rob Gronkowski are questionable.

Washington's defense has been woeful this season, though, so Tampa’s should be in a good shape either way.

Washington is 1-7 against the spread this season, making it one of the best teams in the league to fade. We expect that trend to continue Sunday and are backing Tampa in our Buccaneers and Washington picks.

Under 51.5 (-110)

The Bucs’ defense should not face too many problems in this game. Washington ranks 31st in the league for passing offense, as Taylor Heinicke has had an inconsistent year filling in for Ryan Fitzpatrick. Tampa also allows fewer rushing yards per game than any other team, so it is hard to see Washington scoring many points.

The Buccaneers should be able to secure a comfortable victory, although their offense will be less dangerous than usual if any combination of Brown, Godwin, or Gronkowski misses the game.

It all points to the total staying Under 51.5 points.
