Quarterback Kyler Murray, who is recovering from a knee injury, participated in practice with the Arizona Cardinals this week. However, his chances of playing in Sunday's game appear slim. Arizona has struggled in 2023, posting a 1-5 record without their 2019 No. 1 overall pick. Backup QB Joshua Dobbs has faced challenges, completing only 49.3% of his pass attempts in his last two games.

At the same time, the Seattle Seahawks have secured three consecutive wins against the Cardinals, just one shy of their longest winning streak in the all-time series. Seattle head coach Pete Carroll has guided the team to 17 victories over Arizona during his 14-year tenure with the franchise.

The Arizona Cardinals have lost their last three straight games while giving up an average of 32 points. They've averaged 15 points per game offensively during that span. 

Arizona’s strength on offense is its running game. The Cardinals rank second in the league in yards per carry (5.3), behind only the Miami Dolphins (6.5). Seattle has held its opponents to 3.2 yards per carry in 2023, the NFL's lowest mark. The Seahawks and Lions are the only NFL teams yet to allow a 20-yard rush.

Seattle is seventh in the league in passing yards per game (247) and 15th in rushing (104.2), while the Cardinals are allowing 266.3 passing yards (27th) and 133.3 rushing yards per outing (24th). The Seahawks’ Geno Smith has completed at least 60% of his pass attempts in nine straight games, the league's longest active streak. 

The Seahawks also boast a lethal ground game. Kenneth Walker’s six rushing touchdowns are the most from any Seahawk through the first five games of a season. Walker has scored a touchdown in each of his last four games. 

Seattle will overwhelm the Cardinals and comfortably cover.

The Cardinals’ flaws are starting to show after a feisty start to the season. Seattle will be able to scheme up an offensive attack through the air and on the ground. The Seahawks are 3-2 against the spread in 2023, and Arizona is 1-2 ATS on the road.
