Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals host Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers in a Monday Night Football matchup.

When making the best Chargers vs. Cardinals MNF prop bets based on the best Monday Night Football odds, it’s hard not to notice the Chargers' clear advantage when it comes to running the football in this game.

The Cardinals have the 29th-ranked run defense in the league, and the Chargers are averaging 127.8 rushing yards per game, which we highlighted in our Chargers vs. Cardinals prediction.

The Chargers’ defense ranks in the top 10 in both passing and rushing defense. We look at what that means for a Cardinals offense that has scored fewer than 20 points in three of their last four in our Week 7 NFL predictions.

JK Dobbins Over 81.5 rushing yards (-110)

bet365 is one of three sportsbooks offering a total of 81.5. While two of the three sportsbooks are asking -118 or more for the Over, bet365 is asking -110. That price is better than what DraftKings and FanDuel are asking for Over 83.5 and Over 84.5, respectively.

Dobbins has run for at least 96 yards in all three of the Chargers wins this season. But even if the Chargers lose this game, this is a great matchup for Dobbins.

The Cardinals are allowing 153.0 rushing yards per game, and they’re allowing an average of 182.7 in their last three. Dobbins has cleared 130 yards twice this season. It wouldn’t be shocking to see him get near that number again.

Best odds: -110 via bet365 | Implied probability: 52.83%

Kyler Murray Under 31.5 pass attempts (-105)

Despite the Cardinals being 2-4 and getting blown out in two of their last three games, Murray has only attempted more than 31 passes in two games this season. His season-high in attempts was 34 against the Detroit Lions.

The Chargers rank 13th in the league in pass attempts allowed per game. They’re allowing just 30.6 per contest, the third-fewest of any team the Cardinals have faced this season. In the two games against teams allowing fewer attempts than the Chargers, Murray never threw the ball more than 22 times.

Every major sportsbook has the total set at 31.5, but the price varies from sportsbook to sportsbook. The worst price available is -135 at FanDuel. That implies a 57.45% chance that Murray goes under this total. BetMGM has the best price, so it’s the sportsbook to play at.

Meanwhile, we think one of the other quarterbacks playing Monday night will have a big game through the air, as we outlined in our Lamar Jackson MNF player prop bets.

Trey McBride anytime touchdown scorer (+270)

Trey McBride has yet to score a touchdown this season, but he does lead the Cardinals in receptions and targets, and he’s only eight yards behind Marvin Harrison Jr. for the most receiving yards on the team.

The Chargers have only allowed five touchdown passes this season. None have been to tight ends. However, in a matchup between two low-scoring teams, it’s hard to find a lot of value in the more consistent touchdown scorers to score in this game. The Chargers have given up 272 yards to tight ends this season, so McBride’s opportunities will continue this week.

The price for this prop ranges between +220 and +270, and no sportsbook other than FanDuel has this price higher than +245. In a game that won’t have many touchdowns, back a player who gets a lot of touches for a solid price.

Best odds: +270 via FanDuel | Implied probability: 27.03%
