The Cincinnati Bengals (0-2) host the Washington Commanders (1-1) in the second Monday Night Football game in Week 3.

The latest Monday Night Football odds have the Bengals favored by 7.5 points to beat the Commanders for their first win of the season. If the Bengals lead from start to finish and win in dominant fashion, how will that impact our best Commanders vs. Bengals MNF prop bets?

I think this is going to get ugly quickly for the Commanders. Rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels is about to take on the best defense he’s faced, and the secondary could be in for a long day against Joe Burrow - especially with Tee Higgins returning for Cincinnati.

In addition to our Commanders vs. Bengals prediction, here are our best player props for Monday Night Football:

Jayden Daniels Under 197.5 passing yards (-113) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The only reason this isn’t a five-star play is because Daniels may pick up some garbage-time yards in the fourth quarter. But this is a tough matchup on paper.

The Bengals are allowing just 128.5 passing yards per game to start the season. While they faced Jacoby Brissett in Week 1, they held Patrick Mahomes to 151 yards in Week 2.

Daniels threw for 226 yards last week against the New York Giants, but he only managed 184 passing yards against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 1. The Bengals’ secondary will be too much for him, and he will take off running instead of settling for passes. And when he does throw, he won’t have much success.

The total is set at 195.5 or 196.5 at every major sportsbook except for FanDuel, which is offering a lower number at similar -113 odds.

Joe Burrow Over 261.5 passing yards (-113) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

After looking mediocre in Week 1, Burrow came back and threw for 258 yards and two touchdowns against the Chiefs in Week 2. He has yet to top this number this season, but he also hasn’t faced a secondary as bad as the Commanders.

Washington held Daniel Jones to 178 yards in Week 2, but it allowed Baker Mayfield to throw for 289 in Week 1. That comes after the Commanders had the worst secondary in football last season.

Finally in a favorable matchup, Burrow is going to take out all his frustrations from the first two weeks. If the score gets out of hand, the Bengals aren’t going to let up.

FanDuel has the lowest total listed for this prop across our best sports betting sites, which are hanging this total as high as 264.5 at Caesars.

Ja’Marr Chase Over 80.5 receiving yards (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Chase has only caught 10 passes for 97 yards this season. His season high at the moment is only 62 yards. But as I said with Burrow, this is finally a good matchup, and Chase is going to take advantage of it.

The Commanders' secondary can’t cover good wide receivers. In Week 1, Chris Godwin went for 83 yards while Mike Evans added 61 yards and two touchdowns. Last week, Malik Nabers pulled in 10 catches for 127 yards and a touchdown.

Tee Higgins could be back on Monday night, but that would help Chase, as the Commanders won’t be able to focus all their attention on him. Chase is very likely to end this game with over 100 receiving yards, which would pay out +190 via bet365.
