Titans vs. Jaguars first touchdown scorer prediction: Travis Etienne, Jaguars, RB (+380 via Caesars)

The Jacksonville Jaguars logged the first touchdown in six of their nine games this year. Jacksonville was held out of the end zone last week against the San Francisco 49ers. However, in the three games prior to that, Etiene was the first player to cross the goal line for either team.

Tennessee has allowed its opponent to get to the end zone first in all but two of its nine games in 2023. Four of those touchdowns were scored by a running back. 

The Titans have surrendered seven total touchdowns to the running back position this season. An opposing back has reached the end zone in each of their last three games.

Buccaneers vs. 49ers first touchdown scorer prediction: Christian McCaffrey, 49ers, RB (+290 via Caesars)

San Francisco has put the first touchdown on the board in all but two games so far this season. McCaffrey has been the first person to score the first touchdown of the game three times this year, but last week, CMC had his 17-game scoring streak snapped. There is a better-than-average chance the Niners plan to get him back into the end zone this week to start a new one.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have allowed their opponents to cross the goal line first in seven of nine games this season. Three of those have been rushing touchdowns. 

McCaffrey has four touchdowns in his last three games against the Buccaneers. One of those accounted for the first six-point play of the day.

Bengals vs. Ravens first touchdown scorer prediction: Gus Edwards, Ravens, RB (+600 via Caesars) ✅

Baltimore has scored the first touchdown in all but one of its games this season. Seven of those were scored on the ground. Twice, Gus Edwards has been the first player to cross the goal line. 

Edwards leads the team in running back snaps (299) and attempts (121). The veteran back already has eight rushing touchdowns this year, and he scored seven of those within the last four games.

The Ravens scored the first touchdown in their Week 2 matchup with the Bengals. Edwards punched that one in from the one-yard line.
