The highly anticipated Super Bowl showdown between the Chiefs and Eagles is rapidly approaching. But many fans who are tired of this dynastic Kansas City team are likely more excited for the halftime show.

With Kendrick Lamar and SZA as the headliners, we're exploring our favorite halftime show Super Bowl prop bets, and these markets are exclusive to the best Ontario sports betting sites.

We've rounded up all the markets with our look at the Super Bowl halftime show odds, but now it's time to provide some actionable betting advice.

Halftime show predictions

First song: Alright ⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: +1500 via DraftKings | Implied probability: 6.25%

This one may feel like a bit of a rogue shout, since "Alright" isn't trading anywhere near the favorites by the Kendrick Lamar first song odds. However, there's a great chance of it serving as the opener, as it was among two of Kendrick's own songs he performed during the Super Bowl 2022 halftime show.

The other song of his that he performed as a co-headliner with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, and Eminem was "M.A.A.D City," which also profiles as a solid bet in this market. However, we're getting slightly better odds for the song I deem to be more fitting in a cinematic sense.

This is always a tough market, as the best approach is likely to wait until there's a leak late in the week and rush to bet that song. That's how most people profited last year when just days before the performance there were rumblings Usher would begin with "My Way" or "Caught Up." He ended up using the former as more of an intro, and thus our best sports betting sites determined the latter to be the first song.

It's interesting the Under is receiving so much action in this market. Recent history tells us that few halftime show acts have performed only 10 or fewer songs.

Each of the last three performances have finished with at least 11 songs. The Weeknd was the last performer to go Under this number, but two of his songs featured elements of another track, and that's not as typical in rap. It's unlikely Kendrick will perform, let's say, "Humble" with harmonies from another song in the background.

Therefore, he and his guests will need to fill the approximately 14 minutes usually allotted to the halftime show, and I can't see them doing that in fewer than 11 songs.

The most significant risk to this Over is that there's a tribute to jazz music during the performance, and that takes up a couple of minutes. However, that would still be considered one "song."

Doechii to appear on as celebrity guest ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We provided a full look at the Super Bowl halftime show celebrity guest odds already, but I'm going to make my best pick of the bunch.

Doechii is coming off a massive night at the Grammy Awards, during which she became only the third woman ever to win Best Rap Album. Now I'm looking for her huge month to continue when she acts as a guest performer during the halftime show.

Along with SZA, Doechii is signed to Top Dawg Entertainment, which was Kendrick's label from 2005 to 2022 during his rise to stardom.

I'm also interested in other TDE artists such as Jay Rock (+205) and Schoolboy Q (+600) due to that connection. But Doechii makes the most sense of them all.
