The Jaguars are spending their second straight week in London, which is probably a factor in this spread being so heavy in their favor. The Patriots had to travel during the week.
- Though the Patriots are 1-4-1 against the spread and 1-2 ATS in games away from Gillette Stadium
- The Jaguars are 2-4 ATS with an average margin against the spread of minus-9.9, which ranks 30th in the league
- Jacksonville lost last week in London by 19 points to the Chicago Bears as 1.5-point favorites
For as bad as the Patriots have been, they’ve stayed within this margin in three of their six games played. With Drake Maye giving life to the offense, we like New England getting so many points.

Although a possibility of rain and steady winds have crept into the weather forecast, I generally like our chance to see more points than expected in a game that features two woeful defenses.
- The Patriots have allowed 23.8 points per game (21st in NFL) and are coming off their worst defensive effort of the year, allowing five offensive touchdowns and 41 points to the Texans
- Jacksonville has been even worse defensively, permitting 29.7 PPG (31st in NFL) and was just diced up by Caleb Williams for 35 points In Week 6
- The Jaguars have seen four straight games sail over this total
Caesars, DraftKings and bet365 have bumped this total to 42 while BetMGM and FanDuel still list it at its opening mark of 41.5. The -110 odds at FanDuel edge out BetMGM’s -120.
Drake Maye Over 200.5 passing yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Maye’s first NFL start wasn’t perfect, but he showed glimpses of the traits that got him drafted third overall. The Jaguars are an ideal matchup for Maye to take the next step.
- Jacksonville has allowed 276.7 passing yards per game, ranking last in the NFL in the category
- It’s been even worse lately, as the Jaguars have allowed 301.0 passing yards per game over their past three games - easily the worst in the NFL over that span
- Though he was far from perfect last week, Maye mustered a respectable 243 passing yards in his first NFL start
Maye’s passing total is a yard lower at DraftKings (200.5) compared to FanDuel's line of 201.5. Though Maye’s passing prop at BetMGM (194.5 yards) provided value, plugging this SGP into BetMGM yielded only +340 odds. We’ll play this parlay at DraftKings with +435 odds.
