After beating the New York Jets in 15 of the last 16 contests, the New England Patriots march into MetLife Stadium with history on their side.

Speaking of marching, the Patriots have established an impressive ground attack through the one-two punch of Rhamondre Stevenson and first-year Patriot Antonio Gibson.

While Stevenson is the focus of our Patriots vs. Jets TNF prop bets, we also analyze whether rookie Braelon Allen will build on an excellent Week 2 performance for the Jets, who enter the game eighth in the Super Bowl odds

The Thursday Night Football odds make the Jets 6.5-point favorites at most of our best NFL betting sites

Braelon Allen Over 24.5 rushing yards (+105)

Braelon Allen's workload increased substantially in Week 2. He went from one carry on nine snaps in Week 1 to seven carries on 20 snaps during the Jets' 24-17 Week 2 victory over the Tennessee Titans.

Allen recorded 33 rushing yards against the Titans, which included a 20-yard carry. He's also gaining Aaron Rodgers' trust, a major precursor for a continually increasing role in the Jets' offense.

Breece Hall suffered a minor quad injury against the Titans, so there's a chance Allen's workload increases even further.

Additionally, New York's offensive line is ranked fifth at PFF, a six-position rise from Week 1. Allen should benefit from even more appealing open running lanes.

This is a three-star prop, as the 24.5-yard target is on the high side. His total is set at 22.5 yards (-113) at most of our best sports betting apps

But with a higher total comes with more value and an increased profit if the bet hits. A winning $10 wager pays a $10.50 profit as part of your NFL Week 3 predictions.

Connor Cooper thinks Allen's backfield teammate will still be successful, but in another way as part of his Breece Hall TNF player prop bets.

Rhamondre Stevenson Over 64.5 rushing yards (-113)

Stevenson is the focal point of a Patriots offense that's run heavy.

He notched 120 yards on 25 attempts in Week 1 before following that up with 81 yards on 21 attempts against the Seattle Seahawks last week.

Stevenson is currently sixth in rushing yards per game (100.5) and tied for fourth in attempts (46).

Meanwhile, the Jets are trotting out the fifth-worst run defense through two games, according to PFF.

Haason Reddick prefers losing $800,000 per game over suiting up, Jermaine Johnson is lost to a torn Achilles, and there are concerns about C.J. Mosley's health. Plus, it's a short rest week for an already depleted Jets defense.

There are plenty of factors that should lead to another Stevenson Over. A winning $10 bet will yield an $8.85 profit through one of our best sportsbooks

Rhamondre Stevenson anytime TD (+130)

While I would prefer to back Hall in the anytime TD market, there's not enough value with him sitting around -150 at our best live betting sites.

But Stevenson is an excellent alternative.

He's logged two touchdowns through two games and is heavily relied upon in the red zone (nine carries there already). Also, the Jets have allowed three rushing touchdowns, tied for the third most.

The +130 odds at bet365, the best value offered, make the prop even more alluring. A winning $10 wager will profit $13.
