With an 8-4 record, the Baltimore Ravens lead the AFC North. When Baltimore faces the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road in Week 14, starting quarterback Lamar Jackson is out due to an injury he suffered against the Denver Broncos in Week 13. Without him, can the Ravens survive? Read on for our Ravens-Steelers picks.

The Ravens squeaked out a 10-9 victory against the Broncos but lost Jackson in the process. Without No. 8, the Ravens looked somewhat okay behind backup Tyler Huntley, but will be further put to the test this Sunday.

Pittsburgh is quietly playing some great ball with three wins in the last four weeks. Even in defeat they took a solid Cincinnati Bengals team to the brink and nearly covered the spread.

Here is our top Ravens vs. Steelers NFL Week 14 pick (odds via FanDuel Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-5 star scale).

Ravens vs. Steelers Odds Analysis

The lookahead line here was Ravens -4.5, and then Jackson got hurt. That opened up the betting on Monday at Ravens -1, and the line since moved 3 points in the Steelers’ favor. DraftKings currently reports 54% of the bets and 57% of the tickets are on Pittsburgh.

The total is a popular one, with 59% of the bets and 72% of the tickets on Under 37 in what feels like the makings of a rock fight. The number opened up at 38.5 points and has dropped ever since.

Ravens vs. Steelers Pick

Steelers -1.5 (-114) ★★★★★

This is a case of a line seeming too good to be true, because it is. Baltimore is a very solid team on both sides of the ball, and can run as good as anyone. Surely one man doesn’t make that big of a difference, right? Huntley didn’t look terrible last week, after all.

The Ravens lost five of six matchups they’ve played without Jackson during his career and should once again fall victim in this one. It's a huge road game against a division rival, with a solid Pittsburgh defense ranking just outside the top 10 in DVOA. The Steelers had an entire week to prepare for Huntley, while Denver didn't. The Ravens also scored just one touchdown vs. the Broncos.

The Steelers’ D averaged 16.5 opponent points per game in their last two contests and now get to pick the bones of a weakened group. I like their chances particularly since they'll probably have the best player on the field, linebacker T.J. Watt, whose status is questionable but whose chances to play seem good.

The number here is almost identical no matter where you look, except for one book. While every shop is hanging 2 points, FanDuel offers a solid price of -114 on the -1.5 points with Pittsburgh. If you want to pay less juice to move up to two, snag the -2 points at PointsBet for the nice price of -107.

This is a marginally-good deal, considering the -1.5 points on most other sites is a little steeper than -114. DraftKings currently asks you to pay -117 for that number.
