The Philadelphia Eagles running back finished with 2,005 rushing yards in the regular season - the eighth-most in NFL history - and he enters Super Bowl 2025 with a total of 2,447 yards in the regular season and postseason.

NFL rushing record: Can Barkley make history in Super Bowl 2025?

While Barkley fell exactly 100 yards short of Eric Dickerson's single-season rushing yards record in the regular season (2,105), he's favored to make history today in the Super Bowl.

Barkley needs 30 rushing yards to break Terrell Davis' record for the most rushing yards in a season including playoffs (2,476). The Hall of Fame running back set the record in the 1998-99 season after rushing for 102 yards in Super Bowl 33, leading the Denver Broncos to a 34-19 win over the Atlanta Falcons.
