The Baltimore Ravens will try to return to the second round of the NFL playoffs for the third time in five years when they host the AFC North rival Pittsburgh Steelers tonight at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore with an 8 p.m. ET kickoff (Prime Video).

The Ravens and Steelers split their 2024 season series, but Baltimore won its final four games of the regular season en route to claiming the division crown for the second straight campaign. Pittsburgh lost its final four games of the season, including a 34-17 loss in Baltimore in Week 16.

My Steelers vs. Ravens prediction for Wild Card Weekend expects a somewhat similar outcome while also targeting a player prop for NFL MVP odds contender - and All-Pro quarterback - Lamar Jackson.

The Ravens will be without No. 1 wide receiver Zay Flowers on Saturday night, but I still don't envision them struggling with this Steelers team.

Since a shootout win over the Cincinnati Bengals and a convincing 27-14 victory against the lowly Cleveland Browns, the Steelers' last four point totals are 13, 17, 10, and 17. Their offense is an absolute mess, and top wideout George Pickens managed zero yards on one reception during a key Week 18 showdown.

Russell Wilson has turned back into the pumpkin most people knew he was, and you can't beat the 2024-25 Ravens without keeping pace with their high-powered offense.

As we saw during Baltimore's Week 18 win against the Browns, Jackson and Co. don't necessarily need Flowers to do damage. Rashod Bateman stepped into the No. 1 role seamlessly while hauling in five of eight targets for 76 yards and a touchdown.

And of course, the Ravens' real superpower is their running game. Henry and Jackson can combine for 200-plus rushing yards on any given day. Baltimore will pound Pittsburgh into submission en route to a comfortable 10-plus-point victory at home.

We have the Ravens down for an even larger triumph as part of our NFL playoff bracket predictions.

I generally don't love betting on player props when the playoffs roll around - regardless of the sport - because those wagers become far more unpredictable than during the regular season. But the main reason for that is star players seeming to defy projections when the stakes are high. Let's use that to our advantage in this case.

Jackson scored just one rushing touchdown over the final five weeks, but he was running the ball very effectively. The quarterback took 36 carries for 316 yards during that stretch, and his legs will surely play a significant role in Saturday's game.

The NFL MVP odds contender is projected for 0.26 rushing touchdowns against the Steelers. So based on that number, we're not getting a ton of value through these odds.

However, when factoring in a bit of those aforementioned postseason intangibles, I'd put his number closer to Jayden Daniels' projection (0.45). These odds would be a steal If his projection was somewhere in that range.

Steelers vs. Ravens weather

An initially snowy forecast for Baltimore has cleared up as of Saturday evening. There's no precipitation in the latest forecast, but the temperature is expected to feel like 15 degrees at kickoff with wind gusts up to 28 mph.

Steelers vs. Ravens betting action

The Ravens opened as 8.5-point betting favorites but that line grew to 9.5 at BetMGM as of Saturday morning. Yet, Pittsburgh had drawn 63% of the bets and 58% of the betting handle, according to BetMGM's John Ewing.

The Over/Under dropped from an opening line of 46.5 to 43.5. The Under had drawn 58% of bets and 67% of the handle.
