After beating them in the Super Bowl two years ago, the Kansas City Chiefs are favored to beat the Philadelphia Eagles by the Super Bowl opening odds for Super Bowl 59.

The Eagles entered Sunday as the Super Bowl odds favorites and briefly retained that status after beating the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship. Yet the Chiefs beat the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship and are favored to win Super Bowl 2025 when these teams meet Sunday, Feb. 9, at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

Who is favored to win the Super Bowl?

After taking down the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship, the Chiefs are favored to win the Super Bowl with -125 odds implying a 55.56% chance of them hoisting the Lombardi Trophy for the third consecutive season - something that has never been done before.

The Eagles, who won their lone Super Bowl in the 2017 NFL season but lost to the Chiefs two years ago, are +105 underdogs with a 48.78% implied probability to win the rematch.

Latest Super Bowl odds movement

We broke down the Super Bowl look-ahead odds earlier this week, which saw the Chiefs favored by 1.5 points to beat the Eagles in a hypothetical matchup.

That hasn't changed even after Philadelphia blew out its division rival in the NFC Championship, though it did benefit from three fumble recoveries along the way. The total did jump by three points after the Eagles scored 55 points to return to the Big Game.
