Keeping your games simple but engaging is the best way to make your Super Bowl party a hit.

We know that most people don't have the time to come up with complex Super Bowl games – and guests likely won't want to play those, anyhow. Focus on the quality of your spread, make sure you have plenty of drinks on hand, and don't skimp on the size of your television. We'll take care of the games stuff ourselves.

Check out our free, printable Super Bowl touchdown contest names list – and get ready to fill your hat with the greatest football players on the planet (not literally, of course.)

How to play the Super Bowl touchdown contest

This really won't take long to explain.

Once you've printed out our free Super Bowl touchdown contest names list, simply cut along the dotted lines until every name is on its own mini-sheet. Then, either place the names into a hat or fold them in two first.

Have your party guests each select one name from the hat (no peeking!); the player featured on their slip of paper is their "touchdown pick". Then, you can decide whether you want to reward the first player to score a touchdown, or the last player to score a touchdown.

Either way, if you're holding the lucky name, you win!
