Tom Brady shocked fans by coming out of retirement to play the 2022 season, but is he regretting it? Find out our favorite betting angles with our top prop picks for Tom Brady on Thursday Night Football.

It would be an understatement to say that Brady is having a rough go these last few weeks. Distractions off the field have seemingly taken the wind out of the future Hall of Fame quarterback’s sails and has his team slipping out of contention for another run at a Super Bowl. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' Thursday Night Football matchup in Week 8 will take everything Brady has left in the tank.

At 4-3, the Baltimore Ravens lead the AFC North, but they have had their fair share of struggles as well. However, quarterback Lamar Jackson is still in his prime, and the Ravens' defense wants to build on a strong performance against the Cleveland Browns last week. While it’s too early for a make-or-break game, this one will be a major test of Brady’s resolve.

Tom Brady Prop Predictions for Ravens vs. Buccaneers

Under 0.5 interceptions (-140)

Brady has thrown just one interception this season despite his many struggles. He was picked off by the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1 and has enjoyed a clean record ever since. He has been intercepted five times by the Ravens in his career but has fallen under this mark in four of his eight career games against Baltimore.

The Ravens have eight defensive interceptions through seven games. However, they have cooled off over the last two weeks, failing to pick off New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones as well as Jacoby Brissett of the Cleveland Browns.

First completion Over 7.5 yards (-114)

There seems to be very little fluctuation in the opening drive game script for the Buccaneers' offense. Through seven games this season, one of the first three plays of each game has been a Brady pass attempt. While he hasn’t completed all of his first pass attempts, every one of his first completions this year exceeded this mark.

In fact, he is averaging 18.25 yards on his first connection with his pass catchers. His shortest came last week on a 10-yarder to wide receiver Chris Godwin.

Baltimore held the first two quarterbacks it faced to a first completion shorter than eight yards. However, each of the last five connected for a pass beyond this mark on their first completion. Since Week 3, the Ravens have surrendered an average of 17.4 yards on a pass catcher's first reception of the game.

Longest passing completion Under 38.5 yards (-115)

Brady’s 2022 campaign began with a game in which he hit receiver Julio Jones for a 48-yard pass. He followed that up with a deep ball of 41 yards against the New Orleans Saints. Since then, he has completed a pass of at least 39 yards in only one of his last five games.

In Week 5, Brady hit receiver Mike Evans for a 20-yard pass, with Evans evading a tackle and turning upfield for an additional 20 yards. Evans has been limited in practice and Jones is still listed as questionable. Chris Godwin remains healthy, but his longest reception of the season is only 28 yards.

Brissett and New England Patriots QB Mac Jones are the only two quarterbacks to have registered a completion of at least 39 yards against Baltimore. The Ravens' defense has kept Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, and Tua Tagovailoa from connecting with a receiver for a pass over this mark this season.
